Knives are sure out for Kenny Pickett in Pittsburgh this week. The sharks are circling. But I, for one, am very happy he’s on track to start Sunday. I suggest cooler heads prevail. Steelers fans should stick by Pickett for the rest of 2023.

Here I intelligently and correctly rant about why the Steelers should immediately fire Mike Tomlin. They won’t. But as a result, they also won’t ever win again in the playoffs.

I have predicted the Steelers will go 12-5 and win the AFC North. However, Mike Tomlin just might prevent another special Steelers season.

Here I deftly defend older men dating younger women, while, simultaneously, dispelling the lie that there is anything good about aging. Because there isn’t. Aging sucks.

We live in terrifying times. Or do we? Should we be afraid of our neighbor? Or is it more intelligent to live freely, even if the consequences could be deadly?

Don’t listen to all the nerds telling you why the Steelers will trade up or down. Khan is in his prime, ready to be brilliant, and he has 3 premium picks, well situated, in the top 2 rounds, where the stars are found. He will find 3, at 17, 32 & 49.

Our culture today teaches us to repress all negative thoughts, lest we be adjudged depressed, needy, whiny, angry or even mentally ill or dangerous. Yet we all still are troubled frequently by negative thoughts. Your chancellor says it’s ok to have them. Welcome.

Please live with character. Strive to achieve, but when you lose, do so graciously. Be humble. Sacrifice for the well being of others. Stand up for something. Be ethical. Do unto others as you would have them do unto you.

No matter the beautiful, wonderful choice you’ve made, rest assured, it comes with a downside. Here’s an ode to accepting that reality & not running from it.

We aren’t in grade school. We need to stop punishing one another for the mistakes of a few. We need to stop acting with greed. Let’s get life back to being joyful again.

If conflicts continue with certain people in our lives, it’s quite likely that one party in the relationship simply no longer likes the other. Sometimes this can’t be changed. It’s OK to end relationships with people we no longer like or who no longer like us.

After Pitt’s 89-81 win over GATech today, everyone was praising Burton. He did great. But the keys to the win were Federiko & Greg Elliott. About those crickets on Elliott…

Fewer creative people love sports, but when they do, it’s because they can sense so much going on under the surface. That’s why I feel so strongly that benching Greg Elliott means this Pitt Hoops season is over.

Jeff Capel ruined the Pitt team chemistry irreparably by deciding to bench Greg Elliott down the stretch. This Pitt team won’t win anything without Elliott, and Jeff Capel should be fired after the season.

The metrics mostly put Pitt at 50-ish. That is depressing. But KenPom is total garbage and has been for 20+ years. Moreover, don’t let anyone tell you this Pitt season is already a success.

Not to beat a dead horse, but people are still online arguing that the lies of the NET are reality, & Your Chancellor just can’t have that. So here’s more on how & why the NET SUCKS EGGS!!!
