(1) So understand, much of what you have experienced was in preparation, not for the skills you thought you lacked, but for the character you needed to develop. In your time of thinking and listening, be aware I am opening new understanding to you. In this time I will speak to you about things of old. I will cause you to recall ideas, issues, and memories from your past and we will revisit them together. I will speak to you and I will give new insights and understanding, and these things of the past will begin to make more sense to you. With the new perspective I am giving, you will see them differently, though you are acquainted with them already. (1) I have given you answers to questions of old. I am training you to grow in new levels of competency, endurance, and effectiveness in the things I have called you to accomplish. I am reframing your mindset as I open revelation and understanding in areas that were closed. In the past, you had the talent to accomplish, but did not have the right mindset. You did not have the understanding how to respond or move forward. You did not know when to take action, or why you should move in a particular direction. But today I am opening this understanding to you and I am making it plain and clear for you to see, understand, and possess. Though you have encountered these things before, you will see them in a new light, with a new perspective. (1) Many of you have been so very close all along. Many of you have wondered around in your Promised Land, in the very center of your destiny, yet you were not able to thrive, progress, or succeed. Even though you have been in the right place, you were not there at the right time, and you did not have the right understanding.

I am working in the secret things in your heart, mind, and circumstances to bring about greater awareness of my plans for you. You are so easily distracted by the here and now, by the things that are temporary, by the things that are urgent, but ultimately unimportant. These things grab your attention, but what you see, and the issues they represent, are not relevant.
