Loreley and Chris cover the second half of Boom! Studios' Magic comics written by Jed MacKay! They give an overview of the plot of issues 6 through 10, as well as a brief recap of the one-off Tezzeret special, Master of Metal, and then give their thoughts to how the first big arc of the series shapes up in the history of Magic lore.

This week, Jay and Loreley return to discuss the history of the plane of Kamigawa, including the worldbuilding as we knew it 1200 years ago and what happened in the original block's novels! Also Chris is there.

This wedding didn't exactly end with the happy couple going on vacation, because this honeymoon is going down and the sun is coming back up! This week we wrap up the main story of Crimson Vow and talk about these last few months of Magic story before we take off for our two week holiday vacation.

It's week four of the Crimson Vow stories! Everything's coming together as the Gatecrash storms the castle, Olivia and Arlin have their fated showdown, and Sorin has some granddaddy issues to work through. In addition, we also discuss the final side story of the return to Innistrad, and our feelings about the side stories overall.

Brian, Chris, and Cary are back once more to discuss the third week of Crimson Vow web fiction! We cover "Forever Hold Your Peace," the third main story by K. Arsenault Rivera, and "Survivors," the third side story, by Reinhardt Suarez. How does Sorin feel about his new Step-Grandmother? And who is the true nightmare at the center of the horrors of Traublassen? Find out on this week's episode!

We return to the festivities at hand as Brian, Cary, and Chris discuss the second week of stories from Crimson Vow, including "The Dolorous Weight of Pleasantries" by K. Arsenault Rivera, where we actually kinda learn to like(?) Sorin, and "The Blessing of Blood" by Marcus Terrell Smith, where we really definitely like Odric.

Brian and Chris attend the reception for Olivia's wedding and help themselves to the most flavorful cards of Crimson Vow.

The first week of the stories of Crimson Vow are here already! On this episode we discuss the first main story, Tithes and Invitations by K. Arsenault Rivera, where Sorin finds his gramps has gone missing and everyone has to google what RSVP means. Then we talk The Edge of the World by Aysha U. Farah, a true Nephalian mystery, with a surprising ending.

Jay returns just in time to announce his baby-related hiatus and chats with Brian and Cary about the current state of the Vorthos world, the past year of Magic story, and where we can go, and where we should go, in the future.

The finale to the Midnight Hunt main story has arrived in the form of Night Closes 'Round by K. Arsenault Rivera, and it's a bit more like a mid-season finale. We discuss where the story is going to go from here, and also the arrival of a long lost sister in our last side story, The Dusk Reborn by Rhiannon Rasmussen.

The festive atmosphere comes crashing down around our heroes in the fourth main story, Harvesttide by K. Arsenault Rivera, and the fourth side story brings an undead caller to Gisa's doorstep in The Dance of Undeath by Seanan McGuire.
