Pastor Sean closes our Kingdom People series by teaching on Jesus' parable of the servants and the master's talents. Here we learn from God's heart for us to be good stewards over everything we are entrusted with.

Kingdom people pray. Pastor Sean teaches from Matthew 6:9-13, what is commonly known as "the Lord's prayer". In this teaching, we will review the context Jesus spoke into, reflect on the depth of every word, and how we can apply it to our life and prayers today.

I think we could all agree that encouragement is a good thing, and we all benefit when it's sharedbetween us. Here's the problem we're facing in our culture right now: We are at an encouragement deficit. What if the baseline of how people experienced Christian community was genuine, gospel-infused encouragement? Let's explore how we get there, together.

There are moments in life when we wait, we mourn, we enter theuncomfortable. But there are also moments to celebrate! To feast! To rejoice!In other words, there are times when you must leave behind an old way ofexperiencing your situation for a new way.In this weeks message we look at how Jesus wants us to wait with Him and we are waiting for Him to return as we go through Matthew 9:14-17.

This week, we look at Matthew 9:1-13, documenting a variety of interactions Jesus has with religious leaders and “sinners” alike, all having very different encounters with him along the way. We see a couple controversies, but the controversy that this story ultimately points us to is the reality of where OUR story intersects with those with whom Jesus encountered.

It's so important that we maintain a healthy posture within the family of God because it's ultimately the greatest testimony we'll have as a collective community. Sadly, Christians are often infected with a critical spirit. If the onlooking world sees us carrying a "cancel culture" attitude just like they do, then how are we any different? James says there's no room for this.

When Jesus comes to the other side of hearts, He deals with the darkness as a Savior, kindly and gently, so we can have what is always being challenged in this spiritual war - the presence of God in hearts.
