Prayer was never meant to be complicated. But Jesus knew that we, being human, would tend to convolute the simple things. So He gave us a practical template from which to pray specifically and simply.

This series has been one of asking the question, “Is Jesus at the center of my life?” The logical follow-up question is, "What happens if He’s not?" What would the consequences be?

We don't just go to church, we ARE the church! Which is a handy realization when "snowmageddon" hits the PNW. Despite the school district canceling all weekend happenings (including our gathering), we still have ways to be encouraged collectively by God's word. Hence, this video! Our friend, Josh Siegel, will share a brief but timely word with us about what God has truly called us to, and what our appropriate response might look like. So grab your family, some friends, or whoever's around, and take a moment this Sunday to worship Jesus together as you hear God's word for you today.

If the things Jesus say about Himself are reliable, then we too can live lives that speak reliably about Him.

Who has authority in your life? Are there voices that shouldn’t? What if Jesus is asking you to trust that his authority is what you actually need?

We all desperately desire rest. Chances are, you’re not getting the kind of rest you need. Fortunately, God has a method that, should we take it seriously, could change our lives entirely.

In John 5, we find a story about Jesus healing someone who wasn’t expecting it. But stories like this often address more than what’s on the surface. When Jesus heals, he’s always pointing towards a greater healing that is yet to happen.

When Jesus offers “rest” to the weary in Matthew 11, what does that actually look like? It looks like an invitation — not to living idle, but to living with intentionality and purpose.

Imagine what it would have felt like to be present for that first Christmas. What would it have felt like for Joseph? The Wise Men? Those who opposed Jesus? This Christmas, you’re invited to get curious, to put yourself in their shoes and to consider your own perspective of a sacred holiday.

Life for Joseph and Mary on that first Christmas was nothing like they had expected or planned for. Ultimately, God’s plan was to exceed their expectations, and inevitably, ours.

Following Jesus is less about what you get and more about who you're with.

"What you direct your life towards is where your worship happens.” Your life reflects what you value most. And that’s not necessarily a bad thing. The problem isn’t that we worship, the problem is where we aim our worship. To find real satisfaction life, it's imperative that we direct our worship towards Jesus.

In our culture, humility is overrated, yet it's precisely what the Kingdom of God is built upon. In the life of John the Baptist, we see that biblical humility looks like taking a backseat and joyfully pointing our entire lives towards Jesus.

The love of God is unlike any other love in this world. It’s pursuing, it’s sacrificial, and it’s for everyone.

No matter how good or bad you think you are, you’ll never experience all that God has for you while relying on what you bring to the table. You need new credentials entirely, and Jesus shows us the way.
