Joy. What is joy? How do you get joy - especially for the forgotten people of Christmas. In this message from Luke 2:21-38, we encounter two people who are sometimes forgotten at Christmas - Simeon and Anna. Did they find joy? They did and their story is one that can bring joy to your world.

When reading through Scripture and come to the word "therefore", we should stop and ask what the 'therefore' is there for. From our text today in 1 Peter 1:10-16, we find the word therefore in play. As we ask what the "therefore" is there for, we find Peter gives us an answer - an answer that provides us with direction for our lives that leads to us having hope.

Why be hopeful? After all, look at all that is happening in our world today. If you are following Christ, you have a reason to be hopeful. In this message from 1 Peter 1:3-9, we find six reasons for why we can be hopeful.

Be hopeful... no matter what. Is it really possible? What does it mean to be hopeful? How can I be hopeful? When Peter wrote to the Jewish Christians driven out of Jerusalem and scattered throughout Asia Minor, they likely had these same questions that we're asking today. In this first message from our new series in 1 Peter, we answer these important questions. Answers that can fill us with hope!

Jesus said in John 8:36, "So if the Son makes you free, you will be free indeed." What does He mean by this statement? Set free to what? What does being free look like in the Christian life?
