She is deeply missed by Brothers Shane, Jake and Blane, Mother Sandra and Father Barry. **FNI would like to note that this podcast was recorded before Elliot Page made his announcement. The point Wiebke makes in the context of Nika McGuigan's career referring to Elliot's former identity as Ellen Page felt important to include. There was no disrespect intended. The daughter of former WBA Featherweight champion Barry McGuigan, Nika, Nika battled childhood leukemia from the ages of 11 to 13. The disease sadly then returned when she was an adult, claiming her life in 2019 at age 33. She was known for her starring role as art student Danielle Mullane in Can't Cope, Won't Cope (2016–2018).
