Twitch Numbers Are Exploding as People Stay Home — They’re Not the Only One. As more people are staying at home to practice social distancing, Twitch viewership, facebook, twitter and instagram numbers are skyrocketing. We've also seen an extreme increase in traffic on our website and radio broadcast. 

Student-run stations are closing, playing reruns, and exploring ways to broadcast on campuses without students. Broadcasting is changing every day.  Attention AVA Radio Artists: As many of our affiliated college radio stations had to close from Corona Virus campus shut downs, we will not be able to place songs on their stations until the campuses return to normal operation. The United States expects a 2nd wave of Corona Virus to hit after Spring Breaks return home from massive social gatherings despite the CDC asking people to stay home and self quarantine.  As thousands of spring breakers ignore warnings, the US is preparing for a second even bigger wave of Coronavirus by closing US borders today. Hospitals are already overwhelmed and unable to handle what’s ahead. On Average 1 infected person can spread the virus to 144 people which is why self quarantine and social distancing was crucial in getting ahead of the virus. As spring breakers head home, they say these students will no doubt be bringing the virus home to their families and elderly grand parents. This story coming up today on @AvAliveradio
