It's the week of 5/12/18 and Keith and Chris talk about current events while discussing college homecomings and whatever comes to their mind. Oh yeah, and Lon joins them way later. The NBA Playoffs is a big thing right now, so we apologize in advance to anyone uninterested in that particular topic.

We’ve all heard of depression. Its an ugly mental illness that only people privileged enough are able to have. I’m definitely using satire in that last statement, but we do know about depression. However, have you heard of the phrase spiritual depression? This is a topic that’s been on my heart to discuss for some time now. In fact, it was one of the reasons that I started this podcast. I was interviewing my friend Tay Collier about mental illness and how Christian’s deal with it, and I came to realize that he was touching on a form of Spiritual Depression. Spiritual depression can present itself in many forms, but ultimately the result is the same; being rendered ineffective for the kingdom of God. In this episode, we talk about how sin can bring about spiritual depression. So let’s take a listen as I talk to Tay just an hour before he heads back to Missouri from Atlanta. Relationships, relationships, relationships. That’s all anyone seems to talk about. Christian or not, this always seems to be at the tip of everyone’s tongue, in one aspect or another. But honestly, thats all that really matters. Our relationships with others shows and affects our relationship with God and our relationship with God effects our relationship with others. But I guess that’s a podcast for another day. Anyway, I sat down with one Sade Solomon who resides in New York to talk about the ever present topic in the church: singleness vs marriage.
