I confess that I couldn’t sleep before recording this podcast. It was the toughest discussion I’ve ever broached; that of ethnic diversity and inclusion. As a white woman how do you approach it? What language do you even use? Is black socially acceptable for a white person? Is the word black or Black? What about white or White? Or BAME? And what is it about grouping everyone “non-white” into one label like that? I needn’t have worried because CJ of @urbanistplatform is an expert. And specifically relating to the built environment.
