Talking Timelords: A Doctor Who Podcast

Jason and Paul aren't the only ones returning in this episode of Talking Timelords!  "Destiny of the Daleks" sees the return of the 4th Doctor, the Daleks, and one of Doctor Who's greatest villains, Davros!  They also give you some fun facts on the Doctor's scarf and answer the question on just where those Movellans keep their brains.  Have a guess!

After a busy couple of weeks Jason and Paul are finally back to review "Genesis of the Daleks."  They go a little longer with this episode, for a few reasons; Davros, the importance of this story in the overall Doctor Who story, and the fact that this is one of Paul's favorite episodes of all time!  Brace for impact, they've got a lot to say and they're going to say it all!

Jason and Paul return wrap up the Third Doctor's adventures with the Daleks!  "Death to the Daleks" features a stranded TARDIS, Sarah Jane Smith, Daleks with bullets, and BBC's quarry No. 5.  This podcast is not one of the 7,000 wonders of the universe but it is fun!  So, strap in an watch out for Daleks!

Jason and Paul are back with another great Dalek story review! "Planet of the Daleks" features the Third Doctor, John Pertwee, and Katy Manning as Jo Grant. Join us as we deal with snot volcanoes, shiny purple fur, and more Daleks than you can shake a sonic screwdriver at!

Now that Series 9 is over, Jason and Paul return to there Dalek story reviews!  They hit the ground running with "Day of the Daleks," the Third Doctor's (John Pertwee), first encounter with the Daleks!  This story has an underground resistance, the threat of World War III, the Doctor's fancy cape, and of course Daleks!

After many previous failed attempts Jason and Paul are finally talking about one of Doctor Who's most beloved companions of all time, Sarah Jane Smith!  They track her story through the show from the Third and Fourth Doctors all the way to her appearance in the modern series.  There's a lot to talk about, and a little bit of gushing, so get ready for Sarah Jane!

Its finally here!  Jason and Paul sit down to discuss Series 9, as a whole!  However, they aren't alone.  Joining them in the TARDIS, as their John Pertwee and Tom Baker of guests, are the hosts of Bad Wolf Radio, Aaron Goins and Adam Farmer.  If you want to hear four Whovians geek out about the good and bad from Series 9 then you've come to the right place!

After a break for Star Wars and Christmas, Jason and Paul are back to discuss the Doctor Who Christmas special!  "The Husbands of River Song" features the return of River Song (obviously), novelty antlers, and a robot with interchangeable heads.  They didn't loose their heads, but one of them did cry at the completion of River's story.  Guess WHO!

Jason and Paul took the long way round in getting this episode out but never fear, they have a lot to say about "Hell Bent," the finale of Series 9!  Overall good impressions of the episode give way to a heated debate about "the hybrid" and if the Doctor is truly that which he fears most.  You won't want to miss this!

Jason and Paul confess that "Heaven Sent" wasn't originally going to be the topic of this episode...they also confess that they aren't sorry they changed their minds!  There is so much to talk about in this episode but Jason and Paul still find time to go on tangents and consider the larger implications of what this episode might mean for the Doctor, overall.  So come the long way around and listen to our latest episode!

Due to Thanksgiving, Jason and Paul recorded a little later in the week, but never fear, they have a lot to say.  "Face the Raven" has a LOT going on: a tattoo that counts down, a killer raven, unseen puppet masters... and Clara's last episode?  They will be brave, as they discuss this episode and what these events could mean going forward.

After a few brief bits of news, Jason and Paul dive right into "The Girl who Died" and "The Woman who Lived" from Series 9!  While light on action there is still much to talk about from this two-part story.  They investigate every detail, and then hit on some broader series topics at the end, but whether they created ripples or a tidal wave is left up to you.

With Halloween on the way, we all need some freaky episodes of Doctor Who for our late night, candy munching pleasure.  So, Join Jason and Paul, as they give themselves the heebie-jeebies, counting down their Top 5 Scary episodes!  From the atmospheric and unnerving to just downright freaky, they cover it all.  So don't blink, and don't turn out the lights.

We've got another two part story in Series 9 so Jason and Paul decided to cover them at once, and instead, finally return to their companion episodes after 12 years... er...episodes.  This time the episode is all about the 11th Doctor's first companion, Amelia Pond!  From meeting the Doctor as a child, to discovering that she's actually his mother-in-law, they hit all the high and low points of Amy's time on the TARDIS, and maybe, a little bit about how that meeting affects the Doctor's life.  Sorry, Rory.  We're sure you'll get your own episode, eventually.   ;-)

Jason and Paul are so excited about new episodes of Doctor Who that they can hardly contain it!  This time, they dive into the first two episodes of Series 9 which features the return of Davros, the resurrection of Skaro, and Missy with a pointy stick.  Now, as long as Jason and Paul can stay out the sewers, this episode should go off without a hitch!
