17/04/2013 Duration: 02h34minDo you believe in "Bigfoot" like Castle in this episode? Or are those really just "giant clown feet" per Beckett. Hope you were able to watch "The Fast and the Furriest" #Castle episode last night or today to find out the answer to that question and then hopefully can stop by tonight to join our STR Round Table to give your thoughts on "Sasquatch" and this FUN #Caskett episode. STR #136 04/09/13 S5e19[100] 'The Lives of Others' PART2
10/04/2013 Duration: 02h34minWe could NOT do it! There had been so much EPIC Stana awesomeness since the previous week that we simply ran out of our alloted time for STR and didn't even make it to the discussion of the 100th episode itself, "The Lives of Others" ~ written by Terri Edda Miller and Andrew W. Marlowe. We loved each of your personal stories about how you started watching #Castle and then why you stayed and continue to watch. There were so many interesting stories from each of the live callers that we encouraged everyone to read the STR Facebook/twitter comments we weren't able to include. Thank you to those of you who shared your personal stories. As those who heard at the tail end of last week's STR show, we decided to expand it and discuss the episode on tonight's originally scheduled "Just The News Please" show into a "Part 2". Hope you've had the opportunity to rewatch the episode several times before tonight and can't wait to hear your thoughts about this new "fan favorite" episode. Photo credits/copyright: ABC Studi

STR #135 04/02/13 S5e19[100] 'The Lives of Others' Review
03/04/2013 Duration: 02h47minCastle witnessed a murder?! What?! And no one believes him?Perhaps it's just a case of an overactive writer's imagination or truely the effects of knee injury medication. Sure hope you were able to watch this EPIC 100th episode of Castle to find out. Terri Edda Miller and Andrew W. Marlowe [MilMar] have giving us so much to talk about during tonight's STR Round Table with their nod to Alfred Hitchcock's "Rear Window" plus even a cameo just like Alfred did in his films. There were so many wonderful Caskett/CastleTeam scenes in this episode that clearly demonstrated their love for their millions of loyal Castle fans who stuck with them on this journey from the very beginning and continue to enjoy their method of storytelling along the path to 100 episodes [over 5 seasons]. So we hope you'll be able to join us in this fun dicussion. But right before all that we'll have the latest News and we will definitely have some STRC reports from this past [extended] weekend's Stana events. If you haven't watched "The

STR #134 03/26/13 S5e18 'The Wild Rover' Review
27/03/2013 Duration: 02h08minWho knew all this about Detective Kevin Ryan?! Wow! Certainly the #Castle showrunner Andrew W. Marlowe did and the writer of this Ryan-centric episode [long time Castle guru], Terence Paul Winter. Through this murder we learned some very interesting back stories on Ryan – who’s past was NOT quite as simple as perhaps we thought. We learned he was deep undercover with the Irish mob before joining Beckett's team and even had a tumultuous pre-Jenny romance.. This episode was directed by Rob Hardy and regardless of the murder; I really REALLY wanted a cupcake long after the episode from eyeing them at the beginning. Hm, I wonder if those “non samples” were all just props and sprayed with multiple chemicals to look so delicious to us in their non-consumable state. On tonight’s STR we would love to hear what YOU thought about last night’s episode revolving around some of Kevin’s history and Jenny’s present life with him together. The bonus thread throughout the episode was learning of a positive shift in the c

STR #133 03/19/13 S5e17 'Scared To Death' Review
20/03/2013 Duration: 02h31minThink playing "serious and teasing" to the "nervous and scaredy Castle" Stana did an oustanding job as Beckett in "Scared To Death" last night. Even the famous Wes Craven cameo (of Nightmare on Elm Street/Freddie Kruegar fame) even tried to help the perceived cursed Rick in this funny horror episode of Castle. If you missed watching it, please be sure to watch it via ABC.com/Hulu/Netflix and/or your recorded/DVRd copy before tonight's show. Shalisha Francis (After Hours) wrote this fun nod to the classic horror film genre and it was directed by Ron Underwood (Food To Die For). All the "Caskett-y" scenes we know you'll want to talk about after the latest news from the last two weeks away.. we truly missed YOU and hope you can join us again tonight reviewing this fun F.U.N. episode of Castle. STR #131 02/26/13 S5e16 'Hunt' PART 2 Review
27/02/2013 Duration: 02h36minAlexis is in Paris?! How?! Why?! Who?! In Part 1 [Target], Castle and Martha are terrified. We watched Beckett helpless at what has happened and desperately wanting to focus on how to return Castle's little girl to them safely ~ even allowing Castle to interrogate a key suspect with the intention of getting the information no matter what it took. What will happen next in Part 2 [Hunt]? VERY happy 'Target' won the night in the ratings. 'Hunt' should be awesome ~ which was written by Andrew W. Marlowe and directed by Rob Bowman ~ who have never failed to bring all of us a truly suspensful story. Be sure to watch, Monday, Februay 25th, 10/9c on ABC. STR #130 02/19/13 S5e15 'Target' PART 1 Review
20/02/2013 Duration: 02h15minHey! What are you doing Monday night, February 18th? At say, 10/9c? Well, Monday night on ABC there will be a new Castle episode entitled 'Target' and we really REALLY want YOU to see it right along with all of your closests friends. Hey, we'll even watch right along with you tweeting [the certain to trend] hashtag of #SaveAlexis ~ as requested by ABC during their promo for this episode. Can't wait! Hope to "see" you there. Tonight's STR will focus on this intense PART 1, 'Target', where we understand we will witness emotions from a scared father Castle [played by Nathan Fillion] that may crush us [the audience], leaving us craving PART 2 sooner than scheduled. How will Beckett [Stana Katic] strenghthen him during these events all the while holding her breath hoping to bring his daughter home ~ we'll have to watch to find out. 'Target' was written by David Amann and directed by Bill Roe. Photo credit/copyright[a

STR #129 02/12/13 S5e14 'Reality Star Struck' Review
13/02/2013 Duration: 02h18minValentines?! Yes! No doubt the intrinsic romantic nature of Beckett and Castle just might be shown to us while they share their first Valentines Day together.. THIS is going to be awesome! Hurry up Monday! Be sure to watch the "Reality Star Struck" episode of #Castle on Monday February 11th and let's all talk about it during the STR Round Table on tonight's show. No doubt Elena will have some fun challenging questions you'll want to weigh in on.. OR, perhaps even just reminisce about various scenes since we've been "teased" that this going to be a very Caskett-y episode. This episode was written by David Grae and directed by Larry Shaw [who also directed for 'Desperate Housewives' and 'X-Files']. Reminder that it's "sweeps weeks", so be sure to watch and if you are recording on your DVR, please watch by Wednesday night. Photo credit/copyright[above]: ABC Studios/Network

STR #128 02/05/13 S5e13 'Recoil' Review
06/02/2013 Duration: 02h23minIt will be a LONG two weeks before we get to see #Stana portray Detective Kate Beckett again in 'Castle' with a new episode entitled 'Recoil'. Once again [the dragon] Senator Bracken is somehow involved in a murder [imagine that]. Based upon what we've learned/accumulated throughout the past five seasons and the many lives Bracken has destroyed with his evilness including Beckett's family [her mother's murder], this episode might prove who is truly the smartest and clearly define for the audience Beckett's moral character. We ALL can't wait to see how Beckett handles him THIS time. This could be the most suspenseful episode ever to watch now that Rick is there supporting/helping Kate instead of trying to just always protect her from harm's way. Please don't forget these are the important sweeps weeks. Invite everyone you know to watch live Monday, February 4th 9/8c on ABC or watch as soon as possible on their DVR copy within the next few days for those viewings to also count in the final totals. STR #127 01/29/13 Post SundanceFilmFestival-Big Sur Premiere
30/01/2013 Duration: 01h46minWe thought since there isn't a new #Castle episode this week, right after any new Stana news we would share our Sundance Film Festival experience from a "newbie" perspective with all of you. Of course, the reason for our attending the Festival this year was specifically to see Stana's performance as "Lenora" in Michael Polish' new film about American novelist and poet Jack Kerouac entitled 'Big Sur'. But if you ever intend to attend, this might be a fun way to find out a few facts in planning your own Sundance experience. 'Big Sur' will be shown 4 times during the 2013 Sundance Film Festival January 23-26 ~ Park City: Wednesday 9:45 PM Eccles Theatre,Thursday 8:30 AM The Mark Theatre ~ Ogden: Friday 9:30 Egyptian Theatre ~ Salt Lake City: Saturday 9:30 PM Rose Wagner Theatre. While we will NOT spoil anything for anyone about 'Big Sur', please feel free to call/Skype in and ask us some general questions you may have about this film and our festival experience as you may want to attend future festivals. STR #126 01/22/13 S5e12 'Death Gone Crazy' Review
23/01/2013 Duration: 02h16minShould be interesting to see how Beckett observes a side of Castle that might clearly exhibit his thoughts and feelings as a parent of a College student while allowing him some tantalizing assignments with the "College Girls Gone Wild" owner murder case investigation on Monday January 21st episode of #Castle, 10/9c on ABC. The episode is entitled 'Death Gone Crazy' written by Producer Jason Wilborn and directed by Bill Roe. Hope you can join us for the STR Round Table discussion of this episode and a Sundance Film Festival pre-discussion of "Big Sur" that Premeires on Wednesday, January 23rd in Park City, Utah. STR #125 01/15/13 S5e11 'Under the Influence' Review
16/01/2013 Duration: 02h02minSomeone might be "singing a new tune" on the Monday January 14th episode of #Castle entitled 'Under the Influence' at 10/9c on ABC. We understand this episode shifts the focus a bit and shines a light on Esposito's protective nature. This episode was written by Elizabeth Beall and directed by John Terlesky who have wowed us all in the past. Hope you can call/skype in to join our STR Round Table discussion as we'd love you hear your perspective on "Under the Influence". Photo credit/copyright[at left]: ABC Studios/Network

STR #124 01/08/13 S5e10 'Significant Others' Review
09/01/2013 Duration: 02h23minWow! Be sure NOT to miss Monday January 7th episode of Castle to see how Beckett reacts to her whole new set of circumstances in which she finds herself in "Significant Others", 10/9c on ABC. This new chapter in Castle's life with Beckett should prove to be quite insteresting with all the past relationships that seemingly (for obvious reasons) will continue to be involved in his/her life. I'm sure we'll have lots of "things" to talk about on tonight's STR, hope you can join us and jump into the discussion - we'd love to hear YOUR thoughts about his whole new Castle situation. It takes tremendous skill and precision to create hairstyles for movies and telelvision, which Candy has an extensive list of them on her resume.
