The focus turns to the currency markets for a look at some potential trade setups with the Euro, Pound, Aussie and more. Monday’s are normally reserved for Stocks, but this show is shattering that assumption! Merlin starts off with a look at the fed fund rate: what it means and how it impacts the markets. Scott McCormick joins the discussion adding his perspectives on the topic and diving into some long term charts for greater understanding of market cycles for clues to future market direction. Later the duo answer several listener questions pertaining to currencies, commodities, futures and market correlations.

John and Merlin start with a look at the legacy of Nelson Mandela, and share thoughts on the current economic issues facing South Africa. Next, Merlin bring up compelling charts of the Feds previous action to slow down the markets, and shows why he believes a Massive bubble is forming. John looks at the current employment data and shares a couple of charts to show some startling figures the media is not talking about! Finally, the duo announce this week’s latest gold coin winner!

Having spent the last few weeks teaching in Dubai, Master Trader Tillie Allison joins Merlin for a look at what the long term picture looks like for the markets. Tillie answers several listener questions about ProActive investing and the use of Options for long term accounts. Teaching a Market Timing event in Indonesia, Bert Antonik joins Merlin for a look at the current status of the global currency markets and analysis of several currency pairs. Bert and Merlin look at EURUSD, GBPUSD, and the latest entrant in the currency war: Bitcoin!

A bipolar trading started off quite and ended with a wicked selloff. Matt Gildea brings some of his students up to the studio for a live show with Merlin.
