Stories have a way of disarming you, of welcoming you into a new world. Jesus told stories to awaken people's imagination to what the Kingdom of God is like, and to help them take their place in it.  We believe that stories have the power to help you discover meaning and morality, to develop character as you become character in the Great Drama of God's work in His world.

I believe one part of helping our children to develop a moral imagination is by reading them great stories with characters who see themselves as part of a larger story. What our children spend decades imagining may just come to bear witness in their lives as adults.

How do we help our children to be drawn into a beautiful story rather than being lured away into a private world of screens, which are so prevalent in our society?
