It's mostly gearhead - we review a survey of 43,000 people that analyzes what your car says about your vote (prepare to be surprised), plus the top-10 cars for libs and progs. There's also some reporting from CD player testing on an on-ramp (Gs won, CDs lost), and some useful thoughs about whicn pistols are best to carry (love the one you're with). 10.22.21 (MP3): ...A Road Tripping Deep-Dive Special - Mechanical Lockers & Hard Parts VS Electronannies & Computer-Aided Traction for Off-Road Functionality (a.k.a. Who's In Charge of Your Truck?), or Who's Skill Set Is It?
01/11/2021 Duration: 52minWhen time for negotiations are through and Lelu Dallas's multipass won't cut the mustard (Bunky), you can usually fall back on a mechanical part to function like the instructions said it would. That's not always the case with digital traction aids and computer-controlled robo-'froaders. Point is, there are good points and bad points for each, but the bads for knuckle-dragging hard parts don't look to be nearly as hazardous as the downsides of fancy programming and traction voodoo. The Garage Hour goons are here to help figure out what's it to you. While we're in there, we've also got some parts humor, flaky drivers and a few pot-shots at Mom (because no one can lay it on thicker than her).

10.20.21 (MP3): Can You Hack It? Nissans VS Coolant, Binge Watching Deep-Vees VS Haulover Point, Mustang Guy VS Traffic, Fat Basement People VS The Bicycle (& Millenials VS Reality), + the Pending Uber Shortage & Your Cat's Not a Dog
26/10/2021 Duration: 52minAs if the geeks and goons chasing the Garage Hour don't have enough reality to deal out already, it's a show with more - fat beardos with their first bike (and it was pink!), Florida's Haulover Inlet and all the sweet boats that hit it (and those that couldn't pull it off), that Mustang "Guy" who doesn't understand traffic doesn't plan to cooperate, and a little bit on where have all the UbLyfters gone. Why yes, there's more: cats and dogs (refusing to live together), the value of coolant, a few thoughts on the importance of human decency and why other drivers could use some.

10.12.21 (MP3): 2A VS CA & the Guns of Kalifornistan: Further Firearming for Women and First-Timers, Some New Gun Owners & More Old Tool Functions, + Wearing Shorts to Work, & the North Face Loses It While Dudes & Chicks Use It
21/10/2021 Duration: 59minDon't be a tool - let function guide you to the geek side. Garage Hour goons and gearhead gadabouts alike are celebrating more Second Amendment fans, and everyone's going plinkin'. Meanwhile, CA is still trying to prove that fewer guns equal less crime (it doesn't), and Norway proves that guns don't make people kill (just the evil in men's hearts). While we're at it, there's some Blues Brothers, high-zoot hypocrites, another reason for good file-keeping (instructions!), lifted Subies (eww), and having a good day.

10.10.21(MP3): Questionable Car-Maker Ideas -Design Fails VS Leadership Virtue-Signals @Cadillac & Ford & Hyundai, Exploding Bolts (Still Funny), Supply Lines (Still Choked), Engine Bans (Still Kalifornistan), +English Drivers & Italian Truckers VS Idiots
14/10/2021 Duration: 54minThe Gearhead Consultancy made a drive-by of recent decisions by hallmark international automakers' lousy design and product ideas, and was led into a originality dead end. From parts-bin novelties to bathtub visibility, the limited-production cop-out to mimicry versus flattery, there's more "ehhh" than "yeah" coming out of the big guys, and you're right to demand better (or other). It's all good: there's also Dude Food with stew and roast, zombie chainsaw Darwin, Andrew Bornhop, and garagelike wads of goodness (plus flash VS pan).

10.02.21 (MP3): On the Road (Again...) w/ Uncle Travelling Gearhead - Lighting Legality, Stolen Design Cues, Gas Station Poseurs, Lane 1 Tough Guys, 99% Racecar Drivers, Idiots Doing Idiot Things (in Traffic), & Starting Days Right + Info Deserts
11/10/2021 Duration: 58minGetting back in the saddle is hard to do - but we're doing it anyway, because gearhead. Hostus Maximus Justin Fort was on the road and captured everything from automotive design cheating (BMW and Suzuki VS Subaru), that guy in the Jeep in the #1 lane who forgets he's in traffic because his wagon is the toughest (traffic elitist), the same elitism at the gas pump, and why professional test drivers are serious one-percenters. While we're at it, there's also the upside of kick-starting your day with doing (geek!), what lights on the front of your rig won't get you arrested, and what an information desert tastes like.

09.01.21 (MP3): Too Many "B"s, Not Enough Time @ Trinity Brewing - Beer, Brats, (Where's) Bill, Bacon, (Upper) Brass, Blown (Up), Balls, (Will It) Blend, & Buttons! Also, Cast-Iron Pans, w/ Trinity's Head Brewer on How We Got Here (Beer!)
19/09/2021 Duration: 01h38sEnglish, schminglish... Sorry, but there's a lot going on in Garage World right now - running out of hours. We did manage to kidnap Trinity's saucemaster for an hour - Jon Taylor, Regular Bill and Hostus Maximus Justin Fort did an in-house session on yummy beveraging (Simcoe Smash, peanut-butter stout, Idaho 7, dandelions for beer and health, and rusty reds), nose tasting and food pairing. Like usual, there was a whole bunch of other - cast iron, storage avalanches, "Yes" to flipping ('tis the season) and something about Long Island Ice Teas.

08.22.21 (MP3): Bushings & Wrenches & Trucks & Expansion Tanks, Oh My - Plus No Lane for You!, Curvy Road Requests, Tool Trays (& Not Tool Trays), Old Laptops & Old Software (w/ New Problems), + Rob Zombie
10/09/2021 Duration: 59minIt's a fine selection of the random gearheadiness that makes the Garage Hour an international sensation (seriously, what's wrong with you people?) - semis and wide loads and how to own the lane, a review of some logic powering automotive bushings (and rubber versus polyurethane), and we found some Found On Road Awesomeness - Snap-On, baby! Because it's not a Garage Hour without serial weirdness, we've also got a Silence of the Lambs intro (basementy!), a Spyderco knife moment, the Walkin' Dude's 4Runner, and a call for geeks to get involved (because you pay the best attention).

08.21.21 (MP3): Superballs & Other Traffic Projectiles... Also Chevy Bolt Battery Fires (Crispy), Cool Military Hardware XMas for the Taliban (Toucans & Blackhawks & MRAPs, Oh My), No Bullets for You (but Plenty for Terrorists), + Some Motoring Questions
27/08/2021 Duration: 57minBalls that bounce are great, but GM recalling 50-70,000 Bolts aint. Also, when you have lemons, don't make terrorists lemonade. ...Unless you're a fool, in which case you gift-wrap that lemonade in $85billion of the finest military hardware on Earth. Geeks like military hardware, so we'll talk about it. There's other bouncing madness: even though fundamentalist cavemen get mountains of rifles and ammo courtesy of your tax dollars, you're about to be blocked from buying Russian bullets (first time Joke Biden blocked anything from Russia).

22/08/2021 Duration: 57minThe next time you wander into the kitchen in your torn boxers, are the 'fridge and toaster watching you? ...And who's watching them? How about when you pair your car's "infotainment" system with your phone? "Smart" homes and cars appeal to a lot of stupid people because you can be really bright but still dumb enough not to realize that if you're not managing all that unwelcome tech in your life, someone else will. Unphone, bitches! The Gearhead Consultancy wants to help. Faraday-caged homes, phone boxes, historic examples of spying, modern examples of hacking risks and car-control death - it's a scary data forest out there, and you're in it.
