In the premiere episode of Making an Addict, D.J. talks with Steven C., author of It's A Selfish Program: Experience, Strength and Hope for Recovering Addicts and Amends, Apologies and the Myths of Forgiveness: A Guide to the Eighth and Ninth Steps, shares his thoughts and opinions on what makes an addict. Steven talks candidly about his use of drugs, alcohol, and sex to numb difficult feelings from his childhood.
