In January of 2014, local San Antonio news outlets began reporting claims made by a man who named himself as the “World’s Greatest Bigfoot Tracker”. As proof that he deserved the title, the man released photos of the preserved body of what he claimed was a Sasquatch that he shot and killed in 2012. The hunter reported that the body had been held at a testing facility at a Northwestern U.S. university where it had been subjected to a battery of tests to verify that it was indeed the legendary cryptid known as Bigfoot. In the following days, the body would be exhibited at a number of impromptu venues where skeptics and believers alike were able to get a close up view of a seemingly myth made flesh. If it wasn’t incredible enough that a Bigfoot had finally been bagged, according to the tracker, this was actually the second Bigfoot body he had managed to retrieve. During the first century BC construction was started on what would be a temple dedicated to the Roman god, Jupiter. This religious edifice was situated within the scenic Beqaa valley in the city, that was known then, as Heliopolis. The complex would see its completion around 60 AD and would be the largest temple ever to be constructed by the Romans dedicated to a deity. Every part of the structure was built to massive proportions and of a scale truly befitting that of the gods. Surrounded by towering columns that stood 62ft tall the Temple of Jupiter was part of a triumvirate with two other colossal temples which were dedicated to his wife, Astarte, and their son, Mercury. While the columns and temples are most certainly Roman, there are still secrets that lay buried beneath these ancient wonders. In May of 2008 the U.S. Congress Subcommittee on Oversight and Investigations of the Committee on Energy and Commerce met to discuss the proliferation of bio-containment labs. At the time, the Department of Homeland Security was proposing the shutdown of a facility isolated on an island off the East Coast of the U.S. and transfer of its operations to the mainland. This specific bio-research facility had been at the center of the effort to combat the pathogen known as foot and mouth disease. AUDIO ISSUES: Dan and Andrew both dropped audio on this one, had to use the backup.In 2011 the FBI added a short one-page memo to their extensive online archive that sent waves throughout the UFO world. The memo, addressed directly to then-director J. Edgar Hoover, had been sent from the desk of the head of the Washington field office. The memo contained claims from a third-party source that the Air Force has recovered alien craft from the New Mexico desert. Not only had the military recovered crashed vehicles but also the memo had details of bodies that had been retrieved from inside the craft, as well. UFO researchers pored over these details and came to the conclusion that, although the details seemed to resemble the alleged Roswell UFO crash, the memo may actually have described an entirely different event from a book published in 1950 that contained claims from scientists who had worked on the retrieval of an approximately 100 ft craft almost 300 miles northwest of the infamous Roswell.
