  • What does 'walking with God' mean?

    09/07/2017 Duration: 11min

Many speak of "walking with God."  In the Bible's fifth chapter of Deuteronomy, verse 33 says, "You shall walk in all the way that the Lord your God has commanded you, that you may live, and that it may go well with you, and that you may live long..."  Walking with God is a lifestyle.  Stormie Omartian's Learning to Walk With God shares a candid perspective for 'whosoever will' to embrace. • How are your emotions?

    25/06/2017 Duration: 13min

Emotions are a strong part of our make-up. Did you ever consider how much they dictate the view we have of ourselves and our every day relationships?  David Seamands' in Healing Damaged Emotions says "events in our lives, both good and bad, form rings in us like the rings in a tree. Each ring records memories that affect our feelings, our relationships, and our thoughts about God." Today's segment will initiate the fact that the "past doesn't have to hurt the present." During the broadcast, feel free to call in at: (929) 477-2328.  Otherwise, you may contact me with any questions or comments, after the show, at: zenobiabailey.live@gmail.com   Voice mail messages can be left at: 650.741.4137

Without a doubt, these are hard and challenging times, world-wide.  On a personal level, some are in the midst of them on a larger degree than others.  No matter where you fall, whether it's now or later, the difference in how they're handled will lie with your attitude. Omartian's Remembering God's Goodness in Bad Times helps us grapple with helpful ways to interact with our personal circumstances and those all around us. During the live broadcast, your participation is welcomed.  Feel free to call in at: (929) 477-2328. • What's my purpose?

    07/05/2017 Duration: 14min

We all have a purpose.  Are you aware of yours?  Stormie Omartian's You Have a Great Purpose is the subject of this week's encouragement. In the midst of endless and often contradicting perspectives found in articles, books, blogs, movies, talk shows, and endless social media, who we are and what's meant for us, as individuals, gets lost.  They tell us who we are and who we should be.  Still, there's a sense that what's being said doesn't fit YOU. So, the question 'what is your purpose?' begs further contemplation and, ultimately, a response.  During the live broadcast, please feel free to call in at: (929) 477-2328.  Contact me with any questions or comments that you may have after the show at: zenobiabailey.live@gmail.com   Voice mails: 650.741.4137

  • A friend is a friend at all times (continued)

Today, this same strength, amidst our fears, is available to us. • Our mindset matters

    22/01/2017 Duration: 13min

What is it that causes on person to look at a glass and declare that it is half full, while another person will observe the same glass as being half empty?  One little word can describe it:  Mindset.   One dictionary says that mindset is a fixed mental attitude or disposition that predetermines a person's responses to and interpretations of situations. Another states that it is a particular way of thinking : a person's attitude or set of opinions about something. Today's segment helps us to examine our mindset.

  • Replacing fatigue with renewed vigor

    08/01/2017 Duration: 12min

One of the busiest times of the year recently ended, the new year brings more. How will you escape the all too often overwhelming fatigue that seems to plague all of us?  Or, will you?   As unbelievable as it may be, we're already cresting towards the middle of January!   How much busyness can and will you purpose to lay aside from your typical schedule?  I assure you, much of what we deem urgent, isn't at all. Instead, these very things rob us of what's important, placing undue stress, strain, and even fatigue upon us. Charles Hummel, author of Tyranny of the Urgent, states our predicament well: “Your greatest danger is letting the urgent things crowd out the important.”  This segment may well be the one to assist with putting things in their proper place and priority; gaining freedom from the urgent, to help us experience less and less fatigue. Thanks for listening!  My wish for all of us is that we will learn to shave off the urgent in order to slow down and truly enjoy 2017.
