In 1989 he was awarded a MacArthur Foundation Fellowship and has been the recipient of countless other honors and awards. Mr. Hotchkiss has worked in 42 countries teaching people who need wheelchairs how to build and maintain them for themselves.Carol Miller, who is a longtime peace activist and nuclear abolitionist. She is president of the Peaceful Skies Coalition of northern New Mexico and Colorado, which was founded to fight the US Air Force and its plans to turn 94,000 square miles of the Rocky Mountains into a low altitude spying and warfare training area.
