The Annecy Shootings
22/11/2021 Duration: 01h13minOn a late summer afternoon in 2012, three members of the al-Hilli family from Britain, and a French bicyclist named Silvain Mollier, were brutally executed along a popular tourist road in the picturesque Combe-D'Ire Forest near Lake Annecy in France. Join Mike and Gibby as they discuss this mysterious shooting. Four people lost their lives that day, while two of the Al-Hilli children survived. But, the girls were very young and unable to give the police any information to go on. Investigators from both Britain and France worked to try to unravel the mystery. The Dayton Strangler

Capitalizing on the interest in the Jack The Ripper case, some newspapers also referred to this killer as Jack The Strangler. Join Mike and Gibby as they discuss the case of The Dayton Strangler. This case is about five sexually motivated murders and one man that got in the way of the strangler. Not everyone was convinced that the same killer was responsible for all the slayings. Many people were arrested and released for the murders over the years. But, many people believe a man named Smith Hick White, a janitor in downtown Dayton, was responsible for the murders. Maria James

Maria was on the phone with her ex-husband when, suddenly, the call went silent. Her ex rushed over to find her dead. Join Mike and Gibby as they travel to Australia to discuss the mysterious murder of Maria James. The police investigation into Maria's murder has been heavily scrutinized over the years. Persons of interest were cleared with what turned out to be evidence from a completely different case. It also came out later that one of Maria's sons told her that he was molested by two priests at the church across from their home. There were witnesses who saw someone running from the scene, a number of persons of interest over the years, so why has this case never been solved? Brian Shaffer

CCTV footage shows Brian that night at a bar that only had one exit. But, police say that have accounted for everyone in the bar that night except for Brian. So, what happened to Brian Shaffer, and who was involved? Join Mike and Gibby as they discuss the disappearance of Brian Shaffer that occurred in their home state of Ohio. While the case quickly went cold for police, it ignited the interest of online web sleuth communities who believe the case is solvable. And even though Brian's case has received a great deal of media coverage over the years, it remains unsolved to this day. The Shaw Creek Killer
24/10/2021 Duration: 51minIn 1987, two hunters stumbled across the body of a young woman in the woods outside of Augusta, Georgia. Following that discovery, three more bodies were eventually discovered, indicating to investigators that they had a serial killer on their hands. More than 30 years later, two of the women remain unidentified, and the killer remains at large. Join Mike and Gibby as they discuss the serial killer that has been called The Shaw Creek Killer. The killer used an area near Shaw Creek to dispose of the bodies of his victims. He removed their clothing and personal items in an effort to hide their identity. A number of suspects have been on police radar over the years but no one has yet been brought to justice. Kevin Brame

Many people around the Dayton area still remember Kevin's murder almost 22 years later. The police looked at his wife Carla. They had an adversarial custody arrangement, but on the day of his murder, she called to say his boys wanted to see them. Dr No
10/10/2021 Duration: 57minA man, believed to be a long-haul truck driver, was killing women along the I-71 interstate corridor, leaving their bodies in his wake as he drove across the Midwest and East coast from 1981 to 2004. Almost all of his victims were sex workers lured from truck stops. Adopting the CB handle Dr, No, he left at least nine victims horribly murdered, in multiple states. Join Mike and Gibby as they discuss the mysterious Dr. No. This man operated for many years and during that time there were a number of suspects. It wasn't until 2019 that a man named Samuel Legg was arrested for these murders. But, Legg has not yet seen the inside of a courtroom because he is currently deemed to be incompetent to stand trial. Lars Mittank

Michelle Wedge

She was playing outside when her family noticed that she was gone. Witnesses came forward and said that she got into a small dark green car. Despite the statements that were made by a number of witnesses, the police have refused to classify Michelle's case as an abduction. Several other children disappeared in and around the area that may or may not be connected to Michelle's case. The Watcher of Westfield

Derek and Maria Broaddus, along with their three children, thought they had purchased their dream home. But, it turned into a nightmare when they began receiving ominous letters from someone who called themselves "The Watcher." Shannon Paulk

Everyone in the park knew Shannon as a little girl brimming with personality. Her family said that she had never met stranger and she often helped her elderly neighbors with chores. Join Mike and Gibby as they discuss the disappearance and murder of Shannon Paulk. Her disappearance shocked the community but the discovery of her body seven weeks later rocked it to its core. The investigation into Shannon's case was hampered by the events of 9/11 and the federal resources that were devoted to that tragedy. The authorities have DNA and a composite sketch of an individual but later found out that the details of the sketch were fabricated. The kidnapping and murder of Shannon Paulk remain unsolved but someone out there knows the truth behind the monster responsible. Barbara Barnes
22/08/2021 Duration: 52minBarbara Barnes was just 13 when she disappeared on the morning of December 7th, 1995, as she was walking to school in Steubenville, Ohio. Her body was found in a shallow grave by the side of a creek two months later. Despite intensive efforts by law enforcement, no one was ever charged with her murder, and her case remains unsolved and cold after 25 years. Join Mike and Gibby as they discuss the case of the murder of Barbara Barnes. Police initially looked hard at a member of Barbara's family because her body was found 40 miles outside of town but just about a mile from a parcel of land owned by this family member. There have been many that have tied an ex-con named Richard Kolling to Barbara's murder. Kolling was in the area at the time and knew many members of Barbara's family. He also lived close to her apartment. There have been allegations that he sexually assaulted Barbara's younger sister and silenced Barbara when she found out. The Chicago Strangler

It's impossible to know how many people are involved but many people question why, with all of the advancements in technology, these cases are still unsolved. There are some that say it's apathy on the part of the Chicago police department and that they have failed to fully investigate the crimes. Join Mike and Gibby as they discuss the perpetrator (or perpetrators) known as the Chicago Strangler. This is a tough case because the police have not given out much information. They are not convinced that these homicides are connected although the M.O. in many of these homicides is very similar. Mr Cruel

The perpetrator appeared to have a high degree of knowledge of forensic techniques, leaving behind no clues or evidence that led to his identity. He remains unidentified to this day. The Crater Lake Murders

Bronwynne Richardson

Regina Bos

Tina McMenamin
11/07/2021 Duration: 01h04minIn 1995, 18-year-old Tina McMenamin was a college student at the University of Nebraska. She was living in an apartment with her childhood friend, going to school, and working at Godfather's pizza. On Tuesday, July 25th of that year, Tina failed to show up for her shift at work and was later found dead inside her apartment by her roommate. Join Mike and Gibby as they discuss the murder of Tina McMenamin. The investigators determined that the window for Tina's killer to strike was a very small one. But, they could not piece together a motive or zero in on the perpetrator. Based on DNA results in 1996, which could only limit the pool of suspects down a small degree, the police arrested a man named Gregory Gabel. Gabel had been diagnosed with schizophrenia and did have a history of being inappropriate with women. But, was he Tina's killer? Margaret and Seana Tapp

This case horrified residents as fears of a pedophilic attacker circulated throughout the neighborhood. Join Mike and Gibby as they discuss the murders of Margaret and Seana Tapp. Margaret Tapp was highly sociable and was well acquainted with many people. This meant that there were many potential suspects, which made it difficult for investigators to find the culprit. Despite the severity of the crime, the case remains unsolved for over three decades.
