It took us about six weeks to record a podcast, but we have a good reason why.... Joey's a father, the NFL Draft happened, and why did Dave Doeren get a contract extension again?

After nearly a full month without recording, we had to call in the big guns to help make it up to you -- none other than Cam Underwood returns to the show, talking all things Miami. Between the coaching transition from Mark Richt to Manny Diaz, to the ever-complicated QB situation, to the entrances and exits via the transfer portal, this has been a busy (and interesting) offseason in South Florida. PLUS, Dave Doeren gets a contract extension at NC State (?), Georgia Tech has a Takeaway Cruiser, Syracuse is renovating the Carrier Dome's roof, and we remember the life of fallen Georgia Tech DT Brandon Adams. With Joey back from vacation, he and Mike are joined by former Georgia Tech DT Denzel McCoy to talk over some ACC-related updates from the past few weeks. Perhaps the most important ACC-related news update of the offseason thus far, the conference's bowl lineup appears to be improving with a tie-in to the Holiday Bowl, plus a more formal situational tie-in with the Outback Bowl! PLUS, Georgia Tech has announced one game per year from 2020-2024 to take place at Mercedes-Benz Stadium (the nearby home of the Falcons), Florida State adds an intriguing grad transfer quarterback, who's got the most momentum in the conference this offseason, and MORE!

Joey and Mike are joined once again by Ethan Moore, to discuss all things Louisville football over the past 6 months. When he last joined, we were previewing a team that had legitimate bowl aspirations -- now, they've followed up a 2-10 season by hiring a new coaching staff. The 2018 Cardinals were one of the most interesting Power-5 teams of the last decade, but for all the wrong reasons - Ethan breaks it down! National Signing Day (#2) has come and gone, meaning it's time to look at final recruiting results across the ACC. Clemson reigns supreme for the second year in a row, Florida State finished strong (but with one major flaw), and Louisville...looks to be going full-tilt into a rebuild. Elsewhere, the 'Noles are staring down the barrel of a really undesirable Quarterback situation after the dismissal of Deondre Francois. With the offseason upon us, the ACC has remained in college football's news, and Joey and Mike are back to discuss. There's one last game to preview on the season, and it's the one we've told you was coming for months now. Clemson and Alabama meet in the College Football Playoff for the fourth straight year, and will compete for a national championship for the third time in that span. Both teams have dominated this year and attained a 14-0 record, with underclassman quarterbacks Trevor Lawrence and Tua Tagovailoa leading high-flying offenses that are backed by two of the best defenses in college football. They're the two best teams in the country, and have been all year long. They square off in Santa Clara, CA on Monday evening to decide who takes home the National Championship. We're here to preview yet another epic match-up between these teams -- are you ready?

With the ACC's bowl games wrapped up, we're taking a look at Clemson's Playoff domination over Notre Dame, strong performances from Syracuse, Virginia, Duke, and Wake Forest, and a whole lot of underwhelming performances from everyone else. PLUS, Miami has a new coach after a rough bowl performance (and why their situation is actually similar to Georgia Tech's), and NC State left something to be desired.

There's one last set of games to preview as we approach the end of bowl season. On New Year's Eve, we start with Virginia Tech taking on a dangerous Cincinnati team in the Military Bowl, before a physical slugfest of a Sun Bowl between Pittsburgh and Stanford, and we finish out with a potentially extremely fun Gator Bowl game between NC State and Texas A&M.

As bowl season rolls on, it's time for the main event -- #2 Clemson takes on #3 Notre Dame in the Cotton Bowl for one of the two College Football Playoff semifinals, for a chance to play for a national championship against the winners of the Orange Bowl game between #1 Alabama & #4 Oklahoma. Elsewhere, UVA takes on South Carolina in an intriguing Belk Bowl match up from the site of the ACC Championship!

Bowl previews roll on as we look at the games on December 27 and 28, when Duke takes on Temple in the Independence Bowl, Miami gets a postseason rematch against Wisconsin (this time from Yankee Stadium), and Syracuse takes on West Virginia in what sets up to be possibly the most fun game of the entire bowl season.

With bowl season upon us, the guys take a look at Boston College's matchup against Boise State in the First Responder Bowl, and then preview Paul Johnson's final game -- Georgia Tech's date with Minnesota in the Quick Lane Bowl.

The ACC Coaching Carousel has come to a halt...for now...We give our reactions to the recent coaching hires across the conference, as well as our thoughts on some former ACC assistants heading elsewhere. After a recap of the coaching turnover, we give our first bowl preview of 2018, as we breakdown the Birmingham Bowl between Wake Forest and Memphis!

We're running late with this recording, but Week 12 was a busy one in the ACC. Despite being a trendy pick as an underdog, Syracuse was nearly shut out in a blowout win by Notre Dame, Florida State pulled within a win of bowl eligibility against Boston College, and Georgia Tech and Miami took down their Virginia-based counterparts! With the end of the regular season near, the ACC is settling some unfinished business in Week 12. Syracuse gets a shot at killing Notre Dame's CFP hopes at Yankee Stadium, Pittsburgh looks to lock up the ACC Coastal Division with a road trip to Wake Forest, Georgia Tech tries to keep their recent hot streak alive against Virginia, and the Hokies try to halt their skid and pull closer to bowl eligibility as Miami comes to town.
