Having anticipated this, Chris & Rob bring their lawyer, Chad Nicholas (Nick Baglas) on the show to defend them. Little do they know Julian brought his lawyer as well, Chris's infamous Uncle Jeff (Steve Schifini). What unfolds is a thrilling and, at times, disgusting courtroom drama people will be talking about for years to come. On Step by Step, Cody's friend who is an old man tries to commit suicide. Plus, the Creed song "Who's Got My Back" is about that episode and we definitely didn't accidentally pick the song not realizing we had just done it two episodes ago.

Though Chris insists he has never met Kayla, only a paternity test can truly solve this dispute. On Step by Step, Frank & Carol find out they are having a baby (aka Brendan replacement) and have mixed emotions. Scott Stapp also had mixed emotions when he wrote the Creed song "Are You Ready?" about this very same episode.

Rob guides him on his blind date with CKassandra, who he was set up with from hotornot.com. On Step by Step, Karen & Dana are also set up on blind dates by their conniving mom, and things do not go well. Luckily things did go well when Scott Stapp recorded the Creed song "Ode", allowing us to listen to it as well as understand how it is about bad blind dates.
