Ali is joined by Clarisse Loughrey (in for Ace) to chat about the long-awaited Bad Boys For Life starring Will Smith and Martin Lawrence, The Personal History of David Copperfield with Dev Patel and all the usual movie and TV news of the week.

1917 is Sam Mendes' latest, a WW1 drama like no other, the story of two infantry men charged with a very dangerous mission: delivering a command to cancel an attack across enemy lines before thousands of men fall into a German trap. Oh, and it's all shot as if it's "one take". Yep. Speaking to Ali about how they pulled it off are Sam Mendes himself, co-writer Krysty Wilson-Cairns, and the stars Dean-Charles Chapman and George MacKay.

“Anti-hate satire” Jojo Rabbit is a film that needs a bit of explaining, featuring as it does Nazis, imaginary Hitlers and Stephen Merchant as a Gestapo agent. Explaining all is Taika Waititi, the writer-director-star of the show, as well as its two younger leads, Thomasin McKenzie and Roman Griffin Davis. Even Ali has a go trying to summarise it in a few words. Well, he tries his best anyway.
