073-From church to movement – Peter Snyman [podcast]
29/09/2014 Duration: 21minPeter Snyman is the senior leader of the Lighthouse church in Cape Town, South Africa. In the dark days of apartheid Lighthouse was one of the first churches in South Arica to open its doors to all nations. Despite being a church of over 2,000, God gave them a vision to reach the unreached. With the best intentions and many attempts they weren’t able to turn the vision God gave them into reality. Then in 2010 God brought David Broodryk along. David introduced Peter Synman and the Lighthouse leadership to some simple methods of Discovery Bible Study that gave them the "handles" they needed to fuel disciple making movements and among people who were far from God. This is the second half of a story that began with my interview of David Broodryk.

067-How churches can spark disciple making movements: David Broodryk [podcast]
06/08/2014 Duration: 28minIt isn't the changes that do you in, it's the transitions. William Bridges Most change ventures fail when leaders think only about the change to be introduced rather than the people who need to embrace it. In this interview, David Broodryk talks about helping churches embrace and adopt the principles and practices of disciple making movements. David is a trainer, coach and catalyst for disciple making movements. You can register online to access his resources. NOTE; I had planned to release this in two weeks' time, but David's insights are so important I hit "publish" as soon as it was ready to go. I think this interview will form the basis of a whole chapter for my next book on movement leadership. It fills in the missing pieces on helping existing churches play their part in disciple making movements. A game changer for me. Thanks David! UPDATE: Interview with Peter Snyman.
