Multi-talented multi-instrumentalist Adam Wills from the band Bear in Heaven materializes "backstage" to tell terrifying tour stories about being pelted with bottles at the Redding Festival, staying with a cadre of ugly gay men, and performing after the screening of an "accidentally racist" documentary.  We also talk about how he went from a playing in a "nights and weekends" band to being in an all-out touring machine after he turned 30.  The tide is rising on this week's WORST GIG EVER!

John Murray is a man of many talents: improviser, actor, film afficionado.  He's also sang, danced, and served cheeseburgers at Johnny Rockets, "laid pipe" (as in DSL cable), worked at a video store that stocked alot of porn, and had to differentiate himself from other performers named John Murray.  Lots of late-night rentals on this week's WORST GIG EVER!

Man of the hour, tower of power, and a musical influence on both Mike and Geoff, Walter Schreifels stops "backstage" to "break down" a few of the crummier gigs he's had in his illustrious career playing in such renowned bands as Quicksand, Gorilla Biscuits, and Youth of Today.  From performing in front of thousands of aloof Frenchmen, to getting in with the punks at goofy apartment shows in New York in the mid 80's, to all of the tough choices and maneuvering of signing to a major label in his early 20's at the height of the post-Nirvana feeding frenzy, Walter's been there and done that, and he looks back with self-deprecation and grace (the man has grace).  Lots of stop/starts and changes on a dime in this week's WORST GIG EVER!

Sultan of sleaze/professional provocateur/author of I Have Fun Everywhere I Go and ˆ,  Mike Edison skids "backstage" with a dirty laundry sack full of amazing tales to share.
