On this show, we will discuss the existence of God, the Devil, Atheism, Religion, the like. Why? Why NOT?

This is going to be a touchy subject. After reviewing a recent video and watching the incidents that followed, I decided to do the show on this subject anyway. A man can't win in a physical altercation with a woman in the eyes of society because if he wins, he was stronger than her and that was mean. If he loses, he's a bitch and he deserved it... NO MATTER IF SHE STARTED IT OR NOT! It is best to avoid it the altercation, and if you can't avoid it walk away and make it obvious you are not trying to have a physical fight but my momma always taught me, never hit a lady. She also taught me that a LADY never hits a man unless in self defense so if you decide you want to put hands on me, all I see is a target... fighting quickly becomes gender nuetral in the world of self defense. This is not going to be as easy as it seems. We will ask all parties to be open minded and respectful.

So last week BluPhunk and I, Chamber 7 had a very candid conversation about BDSM in reference to the recent release of the movie, 50 Shades of Grey. However, it seems the movie did not live up to it's name in the opinion of many. Nevertheless, the show was a success at conveying that message to the masses. So much so, we had to have a part two to give everyone a chance to free their inner dom/sub. I am pleased to annouce this second show where we will discuss the topic at further length. I look forward to speaking with all of you and hearing your words. This is a no judgment zone. I hope you will cum... I mean come,... with an open mind for this open mic...

Kids these days, right? Well, why are they like that? Is it the parents? Is it the teachers? Is it the system? Is it all of the above? Please join Chamber Seven and BluPhunk as we discuss the growing behavior trend of the Millennials who seek gratuitous reward for minimal output. What has happened to this generation of kids that are trained to take tests and not create and grow? Are we designing a better version of slave? Drones that just doa and don't think? Think about it, write about it and then, let's discuss it.

There were several subjects that I wanted to discuss but this one just wouldn't let go. I actually almost dismissed this one because I didn't think many watched the The State of the Union address from last night. However, I was reminded that we have an intelligent, diverse audience. I believe you won't let me down. I won't tolerate anyone being disrespected. I want all political views to be expressed. Democrats, Republicans, and Independents. Please gives us your view and share at will. Let's talk about the taboo subject that denied at the dinner table. I want to have a mature, fact-ridden discussion. Please help me make that happen.

There have been terrorist attacks, from the murders that occurred at the satirical paper in France to the thousands that have been killed in Nigeria. I think it's time we discuss it. We need to talk about what has happened in Ferguson again, we need to discuss how the cops have now been under fire for all of their indiscretions on TV and we need to discuss how everyone is not the same and this is our opportunity to do so. I know you have conscience poetry that you would like to share with us and this would be the best opportunity. We need to have a mature discussion about it so join chamber 7 and BluPhunk for a serious discussion about your civil liberties and the potential of the loss in the future.

WELCOME BACK!!! I am very glad to have you back. We made it through 2014 and we are starting a new year. The paint is still new, still got that new car smell, still tread on the tires. We have the one and only Jamaal St. John who is a performance poet/spoken word artist that has been honing his literary craft for fifteen (15 years). Five (5) time Nuyorican Poets Café Grand Slam Finalist for years 1996, 1997, 2000, 2008, and 2010 (he is the only poet in Nuyorican Poets Café history to do so) and has won the coveted title of Nuyorican Slam King (December 2000).
