Mark is an incurable automotive enthusiast interviewing successful automotive entrepreneurs who live a lifestyle around their passion for automobiles, motorcycles, trucks and more. Let Mark take you on their journey, get under the hood, and provide some entrepreneurial inspiration. The show includes successes and failures, their incredible journey, plus the Last Lap where guests answer in quick blip-of-the-throttle answers. At the end there's a difficult Checkered Flag question. So sit down, buckle up and enjoy the ride!

In 2017 they will be returning to the IMSA Porsche Cup series in the Platinum class with their customer, Tullman Walker Racing running two, new, 991.2 race cars. Garrett first raced 25 years ago and has run in SCCA, Trans-AM, and IMSA continuously since then.

Prior to Go Puck Blake founded Braille Battery creating a lightweight batter that became the go-to solution for racers. Braille would go on to be recognized as inventing the Automotive Lithium starting batter and they developed the IndyCar Spec Battery. He sold the company in 2014 and began his quest to create a small, lightweight portable power source and Go Puck was born. Back in 1999 Blake won the Rookie of the Year racing at the Pike Peak Hill Climb. In 2014 Blake won the SEMA GEN-III Innovator Award. He also developed, built, and raced the first ever Tesla race car and he ran it at the 100th anniversary of Pikes Peak Hillclimb.

Known as the “World’s fastest air conditioning company” their goal is to provide owners of street rods, sport trucks, and performance cars with the finest air conditioning components available. Rick has been involved in the hot rod industry since the late 70s when he built his first hot rod, a 1940 Chevy Coupe. Early on he became a dealer for Vintage Air as a small business owner wiring and installing a/c systems. He’s been with Vintage Air since 1998. Today he drives a 1939 Ford Deluxe coupe, a car he built in 1984 and he has driven that car over 180,000 miles. He also owns a Pro Touring ’72 Camaro RS and a ’32 Ford 5-window coupe.

Born in to severe poverty, art was a way to distract his mind and hide his constant hunger as he and his siblings suffered from malnutrition. At 10 years old he weighed only 37 pounds. At 15 Eddie won an art scholarship to the Lubbock Municipal Garden and Art Center. Later he landed his first professional job at Hanna-Barbera and later he worked for Jay Orhberg Hollywood Cars. His life long love affair for art and anything that runs on fossil fuel has kept him going. These days he’s created art for some of the most famous names in the automotive industry.

He’s figured out how to pull this off while having a job, and a family, outside of racing and do it with wins at an intense national level. Brian raced a 1972 MG Midget in both HP and FP at the 2016 SCCA Runoffs. Running in two classes, with one car, is no easy feat. That culminated in earning the Sunoco Hard Charger Award in FP and then the SCCA President’s Cup award for the best performance at the Runoffs. His father was a racer and Brian’s raced since his teens in cars including a Sprite, Spec Miata, Lotus 7, Honda CRX, and his MG Midget. Brian is also a talented artist who created digital paintings of automobiles and race cars in his spare time.

His long career includes the advertising field where he was an art director, a textbook illustrator, a newspaper editorial artist, a museum display designer, and a model maker. Since retiring Michael has created Elgin Park, a miniature town where he builds scenes using vintage model cars and buildings of which he then photographs to create realistic images that go back in time. His 1/24 scale recreations are of everyday America from the mid-20th century ranging from the 1920s to the mid-1960s. The details are incredible and no Photoshop is used to create his timeless images.
