After competing in several amateur endurance road races, he noticed there was a need for better safety products and he couldn’t find anything on the market that met his wishes, so he invented one. He came up with FireSack, a simple idea where a wearable bag drapes over the head and shoulders with a large, kangaroo-style pocket that holds a fire extinguisher. It provides quick access to fire suppression and reduces fatigue while cutting down the time it takes a safety worker to engage the extinguisher.
