Then: A Salem woman, owner of Kat's Creepy Creations, was recently indicted after her store was raided back in March by the FBI as part of a federal investigation. A December Instagram post for her shop boasted "cool displays" featuring "real human vertebrae." The investigation led to the manager of the morgue at Harvard Medical School who, along with several others, has been charged with trafficking in stolen human remains. Several people have been charged with trafficking in stolen human remains, one of which was the manager of the morgue at Harvard Medical School. Another is a Salem woman whose shop, "Kat's Creepy Creations," was raided by the FBI back in March. Katrina Maclean purchased remains from the manager at the Harvard Medical School morgue before reselling them to others in multiple states, including Massachusetts. Dan opened the phone lines for listener comment on the story.

To get ahead of the July 1 implementation of the Work and Family Mobility Act, the RMV is adding more staff and extending hours to handle what they expect to be a flood of new applicants for driver’s licenses. Under the new law, applicants will only have to provide two forms of identity, such as a foreign passport and birth certificate or a passport and marriage certificate. Opponents have expressed concerns that allowing the undocumented to obtain these privileges reserved for U.S. citizens only encourages others to follow suit, also warning that undocumented immigrants might illegally use a driver’s license to vote. The Boston City Council passed a $4.2 billion operating budget that includes a nearly $31 million reduction in Boston Police Department funds. Boston Police Patrolmen’s Association President Larry Calderone expressed his disappointment by stating, “Sadly, we continue to see Councilors proudly displaying their anti-police bias while exploiting the budget process to hurt the very same families and neighborhoods they claim to represent.” Calderone joined Dan for a discussion.

The Greater Taunton Amateur Baseball Umpires Association (GTABUA) and Taunton West Little League (TWLL) stopped officiating games after two of their umpires received violent threats over a controversial call during a game. The two groups have been meeting with the town of Taunton to come to some sort of resolution moving forward. GTABUA President Dominic Damiano joined Dan to discuss.
