Arizona Wine Monk
03/08/2018 Duration: 01h17minYou have never met anyone quite like the Arizona Wine Monk. The way he dresses, the way he talks, and just the way he presents himself. He is a truly unique individual and I am so glad that we have him here in Arizona to helps us all understand wine a little bit better. In this episode co-host Chris Dodson and I sit with with the Arizona Wine Monk. In fact this whole episode was put together by Chris and he took the reigns of the interview. I pretty much sat back and Googled all the new words I was learning. The centerpiece of our conversation is the recently released Sangio Cerveza from Arizona Wilderness. Sangio Cerveza is a 51% beer 49% Wine hybrid with aged hops, fermented and matured in a french oak foeder on two tons of Sangiovese wine grapes from Dos Cabezas Wine Works. Its pretty awesome. Black Bridge Brewery
30/07/2018 Duration: 56minThe first time I saw the name Black Bridge Brewery it was on tap at Craft 64 in Scottsdale. An Arizona brewery that I've never heard of with a wheat wine with an 14% ABV called Wicked Poison. Well with that ABV I HAVE to try it. And it was fantastic! Fast forward 1 year and I'm with my dude Orlando Martinez from Hangar 24 on our way to Lake Havasu. He tells me we have to stop at Black Bridge but tells me nothing more wanting me to draw my own conclusions. And the result was me being blown off my feet. Many breweries do their best to be that neighborhood place. But the culture at Black Bridge combined with the semi-small town aspect of Kingman creates the perfect storm to allow Black Bridge to be that place more than any other brewery I’ve seen in Arizona. What was intended to be just a visit turned into me grabbing my gear from my car to get theres guys behind the mics. And they did not disappointed. Enjoy the show!

Brewz Traveler
27/07/2018 Duration: 48minOne of the first times I hung out with Keaton Arnlund, aka Brewz Traveler, he road up to Verde Valley with us to do our episode with Sinagua Malt. He brought his badass drone and the whole trip up we were geeking out about how awesome it was going to be to get drone footage of the Verde River and the farms where the barley was being grown. Long story short: 20 seconds into it maiden voyage Air Force Brewz hit a branch and sunk to the bottom of the river. I even offered to jump in to try to recover it but Keaton knew it was a lost cause. His laidback reaction (compared to what would have been my week long sulk) let me know that this dude was pretty cool. In this episode I sit down with Keaton and his fiance Marissa to talk about how adventure brought them together as well as the adventure that lies ahead of them as they set out to travel across the country exploring the best of craft beer in the US. Be sure to follow along on their social media. Enjoy the show!
