Mostly Nitpicking

Before he was Professor X, he was Charles. Before he was Magneto, he was Erik. Before these movies were bad again, this one was awesome. This week, Nando and DJ get to rewatch the X-Men movie that got enough things right to balance out all of the things X3 and Origins Wolverine got wrong and keep the franchise alive, X-Men: First Class. They nitpick the powers, the costumes, and of course the nuclear armageddon.

High-ish. Far-ish. Kinda fast. This week, Nando and DJ take to the skies and nitpick the 4000th entry in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Captain Marvel. They look at the Skrulls, the easter eggs, and of course the nineties. You remember the nineties, right?

Fantastic Four director Josh Trank says he had a fantastic version of this. And it would’ve received great reviews. We’ll probably never see it. Instead all we have is this. This week, Nando and DJ put on their space suits, roll up their American flag, and watch what very well may be the worst comic book movie ever made, 2015's Fantastic Four. They nitpick the reshoot wigs, the crash test dummies, and of course the science fairs.

The Final Chapter...the last one...no more of these...trust us. Wink This week, Nando and DJ saddle up and take a look at the epic conclusion to the most solid trilogy of animated movies in recent memory, How to Train Your Dragon: The Hidden World. They nitpick the dragons, the viking society, and of course Grimmel's plan.

It's Pinocchio meets Wolverine meets Elysium meets Rollerball meets a CW romance. This week, Nando and DJ watch James Cameron's Robert Ridriguez's Alita: Battle Angel. They nitpick the sports, the bounties, and of course the unnecessarily big eyes.

Everything is...about as awesome as the first one! This week, Nando and DJ break apart the fourth movie in the Lego Movie expanded universe, The Lego Movie 2: The Second Part.They nitpick the glitter, the raptors, and of course the meta narrative.

You can call it good. You can call it terrible. Just don't call it late for dinner. Groan. (That line is in the movie) This week, Nando and DJ wrap up the movie that forced a second Spider-Man reboot, The Amazing Spider-Man 2. They nitpick the airplanes, the safety protocols, and of course FOOOOORRRR YOOOUUUUU! FOOOORRRRR YOOOOOUUUUUU!

Spider-Man! Spider-Man! Does whatever the first Spider-Man movie does but a little worse. This week, Nando and DJ listened to your votes and are begrudgingly re watching the most OK Spider-Man movie ever made, The Amazing Spider-Man. They nitpick the cameras, the security, and of course, the cranes.  

Buckle up, folks. This week, Nando and DJ break down the most polarizing movie of 2019 (until...I don't know...Hellboy), M. Night Shyamalan's Glass. They talk about the plot twists, the other plot twists, and the plot twists that follow those plot twists. Put down your comic books. Get off that train. This week, Nando and DJ nitpick the first movie in the (ugh) Eastrail 177 Trilogy, Unbreakable. They talk about the heroes, the criminals, and the unbelievable ending.

Nitpickers! Roll out! This week, Nando and DJ buckle up to nitpick the Transformers prequel/reboot/who knows of 2018, Bumblebee. They talk about the triple changers, valley girls, and of course the garbage Transformers movie canon.

My Man! Ya Hoo! Whatever else he yells! This week, Nando and DJ dive in to this Holiday Season's surprise hit, Aquaman. The dissect Atlantean Abilities, Manta's plot armor, and the future of the DC Extended Universe (or whatever they're calling it now).  Also Spider-Verse corrections, reccomentions, and New Year's resolutions.

Ho! Ho! Ho boy! Do we have a Christmas movie for you. Since the next few weeks are all packed with big releases, this week Nando and DJ are going to nitpick a Christmas movie that sure is technically a movie, Netflix's The Christmas Chronicles. They try to figure out what Santa is really after, how "Christmas Spirit" works, and why the elves are all psychopaths obsessed with chainsawing people. Yeah, that's a thing in this kid's movie. This week Nando and DJ forget everything they thought they knew about the public domain hero (which it turns out is VERY little) and watched Robin Hood. The beasts are pretty much gone. Grindlewald doesn't do that many crimes. It's an absolute mess.
