The ladies celebrate the life of Kobe & Gigi Bryant after the 1yr anniversary of their & the 7 others passing last year in the terrible plane crash.  Mo multi-tasks watching her Lakers & podcasting this episode, and does it so well!  The Lakers take the “L” and we discuss the Lakers road games, the NBA currently and Mo gives Mel some grief on her Bulls. Today’s Special Interview Mel is joined by guest co-host Spencer “the Wiz” from Delivering Sports and together they sit down and talk with Former NFL Lineman Leon Searcy & author Mike Brodsky.   Leon played with the University of Miami, winning 3 National Championships (1987, 1989 and 1991) and was drafted in the 1st round of the 1992 NFL Draft by the Pittsburgh Steelers.  Through his 11 years in the NFL, he experienced highs and lows which led to his desire to write an autobiography about his experiences.  Mike Brodsky is a graduate from Yale & Duke’s MBA programs, a Financial Advisor & former Television producer, had come into contact with Leon through World Sports Alumni and connected to co-author Leon’s vision for the book, 4th Down and Damn "A Lineman's Story". Spencer has a few particular questions regarding the book and thoroughly recommends it, we hear about some of the experiences detailed in the book by Leon and what he hopes others can get out of the book.  Mel &

If there is one show this Pandemic season to catch, it has to be this show! Mo & Mel welcomed the co-founders of Greater Youth Sports Association, Annalise & Devonte.  These young couple has taken the Las Vegas valley (and other areas) by storm in starting their non-profit dedicated to helping the at-risk youth in our community with participation in Sports.  Their organization works with numerous Elementary schools, to help kids be able to play sports by providing them with their own ball to keep and teaching the values of Sports, Education & Character.  To lead by example and create and environment for the youth that fosters growth, development & success! Some great conversation on this years pandemic and the effects on the mental health and routines of the youth and what is being done to help and assist through their programs.  Mel got quite the “shock” after learning that Devonte is a WSU Cougar alumni, and well you know how she feels about the Cougars.  Especially

It’s a Celebration!  The Dodgers have won the World Series, and have brought the city of LA its 2nd Championship during #COVID Sports! Mo is definitely still on a high from the win, and both ladies are excited to have special guest Harry Ruiz on!  Harry is from LA and has been a die hard Raiders & Dodgers fan most of his life.  Which makes it even better that Harry is now part of the Deportes Vegas, Spanish broadcasting for the Las Vegas Raiders.  Harry can be heard each game day on 1460AM here in Las Vegas giving the color analyst of the Raiders games.  So you already know Mo & Harry had quite the discussion on the Dodgers game 6 win, Harry’s time at the NLDS game 4 & 5 as well as him now broadcasting in Spanish for Raiders games.
