Synopsis
he Addiction Recovery Radio program was created to assist my wife, with her recovery with alcohol and prescription addiction. Quickly in the process, we felt a need to help others struggling to fore-go the first stages of getting sober. Posting our podcast was something we doubted anyone would be interested in. Once we received our first email that our dialog is actually assisting people, we decided it may be a good idea to focus on helping others. Since then, we have materialized a show to not only help first timers, but reach out to those sitting on the fence, or celebrating years of a sober life. We discuss tough topics all addicts go through, as well as provide information and a support network for family and friends of the addict. We encourage participation and because of that, we interview guest such as addiction experts, authors and persons who have successfully completed rehab.
