The guys kick off the second hour of the show talking about potential Astros trades ahead of tomorrow’s trade deadline. Raheel wants a Ken Giles return. Next, the group talks about the strength of the various NFL divisions. John raps some Maxo Kream in John vs. Genius. They wrap up with News of the Weird.

John, Raheel and Del kick off the first hour talking about the Texans’ secondary. Next, they discuss U.S. Soccer and the pay difference between the men and women’s teams and the Oakland Raiders on this year’s season of Hard Knocks. The group gives their opinions on reality television and wrap up the hour talking the potential of an Astros trade. John recalls the Randy Johnson trade and how he broke the news.

The guys debate whether or not the Yankees pose a threat to the Astros in the postseason. Also, more Texans talk and the guys thoughts on the Fortnite World Cup. Finally, Malpractice Monday and News of the Weird. 

The guys rank all the positions on the Texans. Also, how many elite offenses are there currently in NFL? Plus, Raheel's thoughts on the new Lion King movie. 

Del, Nick and Tyler kick off the hour talking about Vegas and Del’s upcoming vacation. Next, the group talks Texans and the absence of a General Manager. The group continues on to talk about the Rockets and how James Harden and Russell Westbrook need to get along to be successful. To wrap up the hour the group takes a pair of calls about soccer.

Lance, Del and Eric Ladin kick off the first hour of the show talking college football and follow up to talk about NFL drug testing. Del previews his new podcast. Del, Lance and Tyler rank their favorite sports/leagues.

The guys kick off the show talking about Texans training camp with updates on healthy/unhealthy players. They then talk about how much they pay for their streaming platforms like Netflix, Hulu, and ECT. They then recap the Astros game and how despite pitchers situation they don’t necessarily question AJ Hinch and what he’s doing with the team. They ponder the question: If you were the Saints, who would you rather have Michael Thomas or Jalen Ramsey? They close out the show talking about children and the perks of having them.  

John is absent so Lance, Paul, and Del kick off the show talking about Cardi B and her carefree lifestyle then transition into players gaining too much control of their playing and how they shouldn’t just be allowed to run around like a free agent whenever they want. The guys talk about over-hyped NBA players and how fans need to wake up and realize some of these players simply are not good. Paul compares Houston sports teams to your stereotypical children in a comedic manner. They then debate over whether or not the Rockets will produce in the post-season or again only in the regular season. They close out the show talking about evil movie characters and who’s the worst of the worst. 

John, Del and Tyler kick off the second hour with an argument between John and Del about dressing for occasions. Next, they talk the Astros bullpen and starter situation, as well as whether Gerrit Cole will walk away from the ‘Stros after this season. Next, they cover if James Harden and Russell Westbrook will get along as teammates. News of the Weird wraps up the hour. John tries to justify that daytime strippers are a life necessity.

John, Lance and Del stand in for Raheel who is out of town. They continue the trend of “dumbass things” from The Bench and talk about the Astros. The group discusses Kirk Cousins vs. Case Keenum, which leads to a discussion about the longevity of various football positions and Jadeveon Clowney. Next, they predict the Texans’ offensive line and talk about the team’s secondary.

When the break ends the crew discusses the state of the Astros pitchers. After this, they decide who has the best starting group in the MLB and how the trade deadline will affect these lineups as the season goes on. The transition to Oklahoma State coach Mike Gundy and his step-son getting on the football team this year, he basically told him there are no guarantees in the world of college football. 

Del and John move on to football, college and professional. They speculate rookie Drew Locks role on the broncos with Joe Flacco at the helm. Then Baylor Football head coach Matt Rhule joins the show to discuss the upcoming season. He describes Baylor as a working process due to the recent sanctions they have to face. However, he emphasizes how the school is on the right track back to success. Also, he explains why his quarterback Charlie Brewer can be something special this coming year. They transition to basketball specifically the Houston Rockets, will Westbrook and Harden work this coming year?

They start off this hour talking about James Harden breaking a kids ankles and how the story would’ve been bigger had he struggled to do so which leads the guys to investigate whether or not James’ and CP3’s feud was more than just basketball. They go back to discuss people criticizing JJ Watt and De’Andre Hopkins for missing the beginning of team camp and how they would rather them be healthy this season than them push themselves too far at camp. They then have a dispute over tipping people for work. They talk about Julio Jones going to camp without an extension and how it’s not a big deal, he’s one of the top 2 receivers in the league. 

While Raheel is enjoying his time off in London Tyler fills in and he, Lance, and John kick off the show talking about the Dallas Cowboys upcoming season and their standing players. They explain the evolution of the meaning of the word politics. They talk about Leveon Bell and how he's going to help his team win games. They discuss college football and how they think things will play out this year. They discuss some pro athletes who have played some not-so-pro games. 

The guys kick off the second hour of the show talking about Raheel’s trip to London to model for a movember photo shoot. They talk about the Emmy nominations and how many Game of Thrones received. They take callers for throw shade Thursday. The guys finish off the show giving their news of the weird.

The guys kick off the show discussing the Rockets, Russell Westbrook, and what Chris Paul is stuck in. They talk about Kawhi Leonard and what kind of player he is. They get into Raheels vacation and try to crack the code on why he is going to Europe. They finish the hour discussing their “grinding” pictures and funny things on the internet.

The guys start the 2nd hour talking about Head coach power rankings from ESPN and debate where they would put the head coaches. They then talk about the potential trades for the Astros with the trade deadline coming and if Gerrit Cole is worth it. The guys talk with a long-time caller Gilbert and he has a very bold prediction about the Astros and they continue talking. Raheel then talks about how the Area 51 raid has now gained mainstream media attention, then they talk about First Takes Max Kellerman saying the Texans have pieces to make the Super Bowl and they predict the Texans season and the situation surrounding Jadeveon Clowney. Steve from Prime Social Poker House calls the show to talk about the charges being dropped against them. To finish the show News of the Weird. 

John Raheel Lance and Dale start the show with a review of what happened in the past couple hours talking the Astros game against the Angels and the problems with the rotation.  The guys discuss Head coach Mike D’Antoni’s comments on the Woj podcast on how the offense won’t change with PG Russell Westbrook joining the fray and discuss what he can do with the offense and also react to what he had to say on Chris Paul. They talk about Brooks Koepka and pictures of him in a thong while also discussing athletes over the age of 40 to play in the NFL and in golf.  Then finish the first hour by discussing the Horns down Big 12 rule and Lil Jordan Humphrey.
