This late in the season there are still a few teams playing for the playoffs and seeding, while others are actively tanking.  The Magic are in a great spot tonight against the terrible Nets and basically Orlando's entire starting five is in play for cash games. For such a short slate there are a bunch of bad defenses going like the Nets, Suns and Lakers. The Pistons have some value highlighted by Ish Smith if Reggie Jackson were to sit again tonight. He’s still coming rather cheap on both sites considering he should see a lion’s share of the point guard minutes.  The Timberwolves are also in a great spot against a bad Lakers team with Karl-Anthony Towns, Andrew Wiggins and Gorgui Dieng all looking solid for cash games. Today’s a really interesting one considering it’s also the trade deadline and we could see some players on the move from the games going down this evening. It will mean monitoring news and making adjustments on the fly.  Obviously the big piece of speculation for tonight is how Demarcus Cousins and Anthony Davis fit together on the Pelicans. While almost definitely making them a better team, it seems like a “wait and see” approach is prudent for projecting either player.  Doug also takes a look at the Kings’ possible rotations, how the Nuggets could be at full strength and what that does to minutes and how the Magic might make for interesting DFS value.
