10/10/2017With nearly 600 companies in Virginia actively working in the field of cyber security, Virginia is a national leader in efforts to develop its workforce for 21st century challenges. However, tens of thousands of job in that, and other high-tech fields, remain unfilled. Today, we’ll talk with Governor McAuliffe, and local technology leaders, about their combined effort to prepare Virginia’s growing workforce for careers in high-tech fields like cyber and biotech. Crowdfunding Saved the Video Star
20/09/2017The East Coast’s largest video store can be found in the heart of Norfolk’s historic Ghent neighborhood, and thanks to a whirlwind Kickstarter campaign, now has enough money to continue operations. Naro Expanded Video outpaced its $25,000 goal in just the first two days of the crowdfunding campaign.
