Jen Brister & Maureen Younger

It's been a few months but Maureen and Jen are back again due to no demand whatsoever, with another episode of their critically ignored podcast. This episode they cover episodes 5 & 6 of series 2 where Jen discovers that she prefers season one and Maureen is still banging on about how Jamie is the 'perfect man.' Maureen and Jen are still doing this podcast much to everyone's indifference. This time they look at episodes 3 & 4, pr rather Maureen does because Jen appears to have no idea what the hell is going on at any given moment.

Maureen and Jen are BACK analysing the hit Scottish highland time travel show that is Outlander. They are finally on to Series 2 and in this episode they take a gander at the first two episodes. It's riveting stuff. Even if Jen is seemingly bored to tears with the whole thing now, Maureen is as ever...ENTHRALLED.

Tune in to the final episode of Droughtlander where both Jen and Maureen try to dissect the final two traumatic episodes of Outlander. Jen has no idea why Maureen made her watch them and Maureen is still foggy eyed about the whole show even after watching 437 times.

Maureen and Jen are still wittering on about Outlander much to the general indifference of the entire breathing planet. Still they think at least 12 people are listening. Here they discuss Eps 12-14 where they can finally agree on something... and that is that Episode 14 need never have happened. Enjoy.

Maureen and Jen delve once more into the intricate plot, narrative, characters and psychological drama of the hit period/sci-fi/fantasy/historical show that is Outlander. It would help if they had any idea what episode they were talking about. To be honest I don't think making notes has helped them seem anymore professional. Still, they had a go. Why not join them as they try to fathom why Claire is so ridiculously hot headed, Jamie is so ridiculously romantic and Geliis has such ridiculously unflattering outfits. Needless to say they're none the wiser by the end of this episode.

Another Episode for all Outlander fans, this time Jen and Maureen go into forensic detail looking at episodes 8 & 9 of series one. Jen even has more than one opinion which makes a change. Maureen on the other hand can't get enough of the show. If nothing else we learn that Jen & Maureen shouldn't watch sex scenes together, it's just awkward.

Maureen and Jen are still talking into dead air, much to the general inertia of the general public. This time they nearly discuss a trip to Vienna, ruminate over Maureen's latest 38th birthday and talk to the wonderful Suzi Ruffell who is infinitely more interesting than Jen and Maureen. It's galling really.

It's the New Year and for once Maureen and Jen have something to say. It's debatable if it's actually of any interest to anyone, even themselves. Still, tune in if you like podcasts about sobriety, tax returns, Korean food and knitting. Yeah, 2014 starts here people.

It's Christmas and Maureen and Jen forget to acknowledge this fact until halfway through the podcast. Still, they have other things on their minds like the time they forgot to record this podcast in Birmingham and how Jen is no fun to be with when she's premenstrual. Lucky for them and unlucky for the rest of you, they remembered to record this one. Expect to hear two women making no sense whilst sitting on a brown sofa in North London with a ginger cat. You're welcome.

Yes, Maureen and Jen deludedly continue with these podcasts. Back on Jen's sofa - the ladies discuss the important issues of the day like a dodgy Dutch Christmas tradition, the likelihood of Jen 'turning' Babs Windsor and Crosse & Blackwell soup. WILD TIMES.

Maureen and Jen find themselves at a loose end in Stockport, so with the option of watching Les Miserables or recording a podcast they decide to create this nonsense with their comedy friends, Angie McEvoy and Kerry Leigh. Expect far too much information on pound sandwich shops, sexy pirates and chicken goujons. You have been warned.
