No play at The Ageas Bowl as bad weather wiped out the third day of the 2nd Test between England and Pakistan. Bad light, rain and a wet outfield prevented Pakistan resuming on their overnight 223-9. Jonathan Agnew and Michael Vaughan reflect on what might have been and a surreal day in Southampton which involved squash, playing the banjo and someone singing ‘Sweet Caroline’. They discuss the retirement from international cricket of MS Dhoni, with Michael explaining why he’s the best one-day captain he’s seen. Rain and bad light meant only 40.2 overs were possible as the tourists reached 223-9 with Mohammad Rizwan unbeaten on 60. Michael Vaughan and Azhar Mahmood join Aggers to discuss whether England got their tactics wrong and, looking ahead, if Pakistan's bowling attack could swing the match in their favour. There's reaction from Stuart Broad and we hear from Warwickshire Chief Executive Stuart Cain about plans to have some fans at the T20 Blast Finals Day. Chasing 277, England looked all but beaten at 117-5, but pushed on by a Chris Woakes and Jos Buttler partnership of 139, they claimed a thrilling win by 3 wickets.
