    In Angel one the crew of the enterprise are led to an interesting world where the native culture developed as a Matriarchy and is ruled by powerful women. Men take on the traditional role that women on earth projected in humanity's past. The Crew were led here because of they believe (rightly so) that a human ship that was lost ended up there. The crew of the lost ship, Angel One, have been commingling with the native peoples and this has created great upset. The leader of the society must decide whether or not to execute the crew of Angel one and the Enterprise crew must find a way to diplomatically resolve the situation.   • Star Trek the Next Generation - Datalore

    In Datalore we explore Data's origins and meet his 'brother' Lore. The crew return to the place where Data was found many years earlier only to discover a dead world with no colonists. Data and the crew discover an unassembled android that appears to be Data's twin. After assembling him, it is revealed that the androids name is Lore and he claims to be Data's older and more intelligent brother. Things get out of hand rather quickly when it is discovered that Lore is in league with a life sucking crystalline entity. The crew discover the true horrors of Data's past and have to face this life sucking and beautiful lifeform. Find out what we thought of the episode and let us know what you think of it as well!

  • Star Trek the Next Generation - The Big Goodbye

    The Big Goodbye finds us joining Captain Picard who is taking a break to get his mind off a tense diplomatic situation which he will have to face soon. We find Picard and a few members of the crew on what starts out as a fun romp through the holodeck. Things soon take a turn for the worse when the ships computer is effected by an invasive signal from the species they are due to meet up with. Picard and his party are trapped now in the holodeck recreation of his favorite pulp detective novels and he now has to outsmart the simulations. Stewart is fantastic as Detective Dixon Hill.   • Star Trek the Next Generation - Haven

    In Haven, we delve deeper into the story of Counselor Troi. We meet her mother, the rather ostentatious diva, Lwaxana Troi. We discover that Troi is promised to a young man. Apparently on Betazed marriages are arranged. The young man, Wyatt Miller, is at first disappointed because he had hoped Deanna would literally be the girl of his dreams. Wyatt has been dreaming about a person all his life. Not daunted and clearly captured by Deanna's own beauty and charm, he decides that the dreams were just that. There's a lot of interesting tension in this episode between many of the characters and over all its quite fun. Tune into our discussion and let us know what you thought of this episode too.

  • Star Trek the Next Generation - Hide and Q

    In Hide and Q, we have the return of one of my favorite characters, the Q. While on route to an emergency situation the enterprise are stopped by the Q and forced to play his games. This time he's not back to taunt Picard, okay maybe a little, instead he's taken an interest in Commander Riker. After a series of tests, Q offers Commander Riker the ultimate "offer you can't refuse", the power of the Q. Riker accepts conditionally, and thinks he has a handle on the power until the crew are too late to rescue a child. Riker is moved by the death of this child and decides if he had the power of the Q, he would have been able to save her. He goes on to try and prove to the Q, despite Captain Picard's warnings and reservations, and ultimately does the right thing.   • Star Trek the Next Generation - The Battle

    In "The Battle" we find our intrepid crew once again facing the Ferengi, this time they are a little more cunning perhaps and present Captain Picard with a blast from his Past, the once thought to be lost, U.S.S. Stargazer as a gift. Captain Picard is suddenly engrossed in haunting memories of a battle that took place when he commanded the old vessel and experiences a great deal of confusion and pain from these memories. Of course, we discover the truth behind these strange memories and occurrences is a revenge plot from the captain of the Ferengi vessel that presents Picard with the gift of his lost ship.   • Star Trek the Next Generation - Justice

    In "Justice" we find the crew of the U.S.S. Enterprise evaluating a new world for shore leave. It just so happens that the inhabitants of the planet, the Edo, have a very different and relaxed view of sexuality than humans are used to. The Edo homeworld seems like a Utopia until young Wesley Crusher gets into a little bit of trouble. We discover that there is only one punishment for all crimes, Death. An upsetting set of circumstances occur and the crew of the enterprise must find a way to commute Wesley's death sentence while adhering to the rules of the prime directive. Oh, and the Edo god happens to get involved too.
