In the Book of Numbers we see the population freed under the mighty hand of God (via Moses) from a life of bondage refuse to cross the Jordan River and fight for the Promised Land. BUT the very next generation (under Joshua son of Nun) in the Book of Joshua cross and fight. What was different about the “Children of the Wilderness” that was not in the spirit of the “Children of Bondage”???
