Episodes

  • #17 - Bill Paxton Tribute/Trespass

    25/03/2017 Duration: 02h13s

A special tribute to the late, great Bill Paxton! We discuss our five favorite Paxton roles and break down his 1992 film, Trespass. If you miss this one, its GAME OVER, MAN!

  • #16 - The Wraith

    09/03/2017 Duration: 01h50min

The boys are back, and if you were looking for the best Charlie Sheen horror/sci-fi/racing precursor to The Crow, look no further! Is this worth a listen? Girl, you know its true!

  • #15 - Road House

    16/02/2017 Duration: 01h54min

A very special "Round Table Roundhouse Road House Review". Tom and Joe are joined by Road House super fans, Steve and Kelly. Because really, Road House is too big of a movie to be reviewed by two grown men. Alcohol is consumed for this one (as it should be)! So beware, "the dancing is over, now we get dirty!"

  • #14 - The Perfect Weapon

    09/02/2017 Duration: 01h42min

Jeff Speakman is The Perfect Weapon. Just try him. Apparently no one did, because this was his one and only big studio movie. Tom and Joe break it down, and also discuss their personal choices for worst movie posters of the 1980's!

  • #13 - Dead Heat

    26/01/2017 Duration: 01h34min

We begin our second year with the stench of death. Dead Heat is easily the best "cops die and come back as zombies to solve the case starring Treat Williams and Joe Piscopo ever made". We dare you to disagree. A movie that stalled one career (Williams) and pretty much ended another (Piscopo). So what do we think of it? Download this one and find out!

  • #12 - Die Hard

    24/12/2016 Duration: 01h57min

It's Christmas, so we have to celebrate with our favorite film of the season...Die Hard! Spoiler, this is Joe's favorite movie of all time. Enjoy, and Happy Holidays from your friends at the Man's Man Film Review!

  • #11 - I Come in Peace

    08/12/2016 Duration: 02h08min

Things to learn from this overstuffed episode: Bad Santa 2 is really bad, Dolph Lundgren is awesome, especially when fighting space aliens, laserdiscs were great, if you can get past the ridiculous prices and flipping discs three times during Star Wars. In addition, our top five is the movies we have purchased on way too many formats. This one is painful! And for the first time ever, the Al Leong one star bump up comes into effect as we review I Come In Peace, the criminally underrated Dolph Lundgren classic! If you don't listen to this episode, you will go in pieces, a-hole!

  • #10 - The Pit

    23/11/2016 Duration: 02h45s

A VERY SPECIAL EPISODE. We review the 1981 Beaver Dam, Wisconsin filmed classic, The Pit! For the first time ever, we are joined by a guest, good friend, Mike Neumeier. Mike is a resident of Beaver Dam and offers some great insight on this classic horror/afterschool special/thriller/dark comedy. We also share our top five slasher films. Don't miss it as we break the TWO HOUR MARK!

  • #9 - Sudden Death

    10/11/2016 Duration: 01h52min

Tom and Joe are back with their first Van Damme review, in perhaps his last good starring vehicle? We have both seen Doctor Strange and offer up our thoughts. A brand new top five as well, sequels that are better then the original. Don't miss it!

  • Dangerous Men Live!

    30/10/2016 Duration: 01h34min

This movie took nearly thirty years to make, and it still doesn't make any sense. Not only is Tom subjecting Joe to this, he has also recruited Shea, a good friend from high school. This one has it all: awful fights, unwanted nudity, cops talking into a telephone while reading a script on their desk, and a naked dude roaming the desert for hours. Join in the fun!

  • #8 - Halloween Spectacular

    27/10/2016 Duration: 01h46min

Can you survive our first Halloween Spectacular? Tom and Joe dust off two relics from the glorious 1980's, The Horror Show and Maniac Cop! New recently seen, and a special Halloween top five: the movies that scared us the most as kids. If that wasn't enough, you will learn of the true terror that is Cornboy! Check it out and have a great Halloween!

  • Samurai Cop Live!

    16/10/2016 Duration: 01h46min

Mullets, bad wigs, gratuitous nudity, token Black partner, 80's synthesizer soundtrack, flubbed lines, and Robert Z'Dar. It can only be our live viewing of Samurai Cop! New drinking game: take a shot every time Joe says "this is terrible". Don't miss it!

  • #7 - Hudson Hawk

    08/10/2016 Duration: 01h19min

Our first Bruce Willis film, so obviously we chose...Hudson Hawk? Joe is looking for Silent Rage payback by unleashing this abomination on Tom, and any who dare view it! Also, our top five sequels that were never made, and Tom's advanced review of The Accountant. If you need something to distract you while you do housework, this is your podcast!

  • #6 - Silent Rage

    24/09/2016 Duration: 01h26min

Tom and Joe are back, and the time has come for the one and only, Chuck Norris to make an appearance. Joe is not SILENT in his RAGE over Tom choosing this film! Also, our thoughts on the new Kickboxer reboot, a Van Damme-less Hard Target 2, the new Blair Witch, top five worst sequels and more!

  • #5 - Commando

    11/09/2016 Duration: 01h40min

It's time to party with Arnold Schwarzenegger in the 1985 action classic, Commando! Tom and Joe are back with recently seen films, top five worst theater experiences, and of course our in depth review of Commando. We also receive some show feedback from Leonardo DiCaprio, and might even have a famous guest. Don't miss it!

  • #4 - Cobra

    08/09/2016 Duration: 01h29min

Stallone makes his first appearance on the podcast with Cobra! A new recently seen, as well as top five teaser trailers. If boredom is your disease, meet the cure!

  • Jaws 3D Live!

    08/09/2016 Duration: 01h41min

For our first live viewing, we chose the best Jaws movie (*ahem* filmed in 3D). Feel our pain as we actually watch this one in 3D. Headaches for everyone! Louis Gossett, Jr tarnishes his recent Oscar and Dennis Quaid forgot he filmed this one. Good times!

  • #3 - 10 To Midnight

    14/08/2016 Duration: 01h11min

The boys are back, and this time they are bringing Charlie Bronson with them! Recently seen films, and a brand new top five as well. We then review the strange cop procedural/slasher/action film 10 to Midnight. Not only our first Charles Bronson film, but also our first Golan/Globus Production, check it out!

  • #2 - Ricochet

    02/08/2016 Duration: 01h17min

Denzel Washington and John Lithgow tear it up in this 1991 action/thriller. Did we mention Ice-T is in it well? YEAH! New recently seen films and a top five as well. Duck from the gunshot, watch for the Ricochet!

  • #1 - Toy Soldiers

    23/07/2016 Duration: 01h10min

The one that started it all, Tom and Joe review Toy Soldiers. If you liked Die Hard, but really think Bruce Willis should have been replaced by Gordie from Stand By Me, and Mikey from The Goonies, this is your movie! Also recently seen films and our top five favorite movies!
