Trek Mate: Previously In The Alpha Quadrant A Star Trek Enterprise Podcast

This week Adam is back with us after his bout of illness and we are joined by fellow podcaster Ben from the Delta Quadrant as we review ‘The Seventh’ This weeks questions are: 1) How many Vulcans did the high command send as infiltrators? 2) What was Menos smuggling? 3) What message did Admiral Forest ask the Vulcans to relay to Enterprise? 4) What is the name of the moon they look for Menos on?  

This week after the events of the Sci Fi Ball Adam has not been well, since Adam & Paul want to do all of Enterprise together Paul & Emma decided to record a chat show type episode with Ben from The Delta Quadrant podcast. We discuss the reasons why we and others like or love Star Trek, what is it about the franchise that keeps people hooked and what is its possible future.  

This week Adam, Paul and Emma are in Bournemouth attending the Sci Fi Ball, instead of leaving you without a PITAQ we have got an episode review we did in conjunction with Mike & Max from Commentary Track Stars. Since this takes place in the TNG timeline we will call this series LITAQ.

This week Adam & Paul review Marauders. They are joined by veteran pod-casters Mike and Max from Commentary Track Stars in one of our longest ever reviews, tangents are a plenty this week. This weeks questions are: 1) What is the name of the mining colony leader? 2) What did they mine at the colony? 3) How long had the Klingon’s been visiting the colony? 4) What was the name of the martial art that T’Pol used? 5) What is the name of the lead Klingon?

This week Adam, Emma, Paul & Colin from Trek News & Views and the Deck 8 podcast look at one of the worse rated episodes ‘A night in Sickbay’. However we find that this episode is maybe not as bad as its made out to be. This weeks quiz questions are  1. What colour was the fluid that spilt out of the can onto Phlox? 2. What animal does Phlox sacrifice to save the dog? 3. How many wives does Phlox say he has? 4. Last week Adam, Emma & Paul from PITAQ filled in for an episode of Trek Mate: In the Wilderness ( The Trek Mate Families dedicated DS9 Podcast). From the download statistics we know that the shows have very different listener demographics so we have decided to release this on our feed as well. We hope that having the crossover on the Wilderness feed earned us some new listeners and we hope that by releasing this podcast we can encourage some of our listeners to add the Wilderness to your weekly download list. This recording was taken a few nights after the event and features guests from the Liberation Frequency Podcast.
