Chad opens the conversation with Jeremy by asking how his day to day has changed since being promoted to the General Manager of the Minnesota Twins. Chad gets complex with Jeremy in asking for his take about the future of the game and competitive balance. Plus, Jeremy gives the rule change he would make if he had one tweak to add to the game.

Twins Team President Derek Falvey joins Chad Hartman live at Target Field to talk about all the excitement surrounding Opening Day including some changes they’ve made around the ballpark including adding to the food offerings. Then, Chad and Dave get into a debate over burrito/taco supremacy. Finally, Chad is joined by Cory Provus (Twins TV Broadcast voice) for a conversation about Cory’s recent trip to Milwaukee to honor his late mentor Bob Uecker and what he’s seen from the Twins in the first few games this season.

Chad then (directly) asks about the rumors surrounding new Twins ownership and the Ishbia family. Chad gets into some fun questions with Derek in the second half of the conversation including what he listens to on his way home from the ballpark and seeing shows at The Armory. He also gives some updates on injured players and some lessons the team learned during the final month of last season.

Bills don’t wait for the market to work itself out. Chad reads texts and thoughts from the listeners. Chad is then joined by Simeon Woods Richardson (Twins pitcher) to discuss a wide range of baseball performance topics including cold tubs. Finally, a conversation with Congresswoman Angie Craig about tariff impacts on the financial market and her future.

Congresswoman Angie Craig joins to talk about the market reaction to the 10% tariffs on all of the United States’ trade partners. Congresswoman Craig expects retaliation to hit us hard. Congresswoman Craig doesn’t believe that Trump’s methods will “fix” the economy. Chad then asks Congresswoman Craig about her speaking out about President Joe Biden’s mental fitness leading up to the 2024 elections. Chad also presses Congresswoman Craig about a potential run for governor. She says she will let everyone know in the next few weeks.

Chad Hartman is joined in the press box by Twins pitcher Simeon Woods Richardson. First they dig into his routine to maintain his arm. Chad and Simeon then get into cold tubs and the mentality to keeping oneself submerged. Chad then invites himself (and Dave) over to Simeon’s for dinner.

Bill Guerin joins for two segments of hockey talk and some other nonsense before Chad jumps around to a few big political topics to wrap up the show.

Wild hockey boss Bill Guerin joins Chad to talk about the good and bad he's seen from the team recently as they continue to play without a few of their top guys in hopes of securing a playoff spot.

After jumping out of rain delay coverage with the Twins, Chad previews what's coming up the rest of the show before an interview with Jon Krawczynski about Glen Taylor giving up his fight to maintain ownership of the Timberwolves and Lynx before a visit with Star Tribune music critic Jon Bream about a new piece ranking the music venues around our area.
