In this episode we are giving a play by play of the 2016 Northeast carpet fest.  What an incredible weekend. The 5th Northeast carpet fest is in the books. Thanks to my co-host, Owen McIntyre for hosting this year. Thanks to everyone that put up an item for the auction and thanks to everyone that bid. The morelia community continues to be the best in the reptile hobby and was able to raise a combined $6,541 for USARK. The Northeast raised $3,335 live auction plus $830 in T-shirt sales for a total of $4,165. The southern carpet fest raised $636 and the Southwest Carpet fest raised $1,740.  

Episode #247 Today's Zoos and what they're really all about. This episode is a bit different then anything that we have done before but I think it will prove to be a very interesting look into a day in the life of a zoo keeper. We have all dreamed of working with reptiles as our job, we will discuss the in's and out' s of working with reptiles in a zoo. Riley works with everything from crocodilians to amphibians to tarantulas to piranha to venomous snakes to millipedes.
