This week we will be discussing Benghazi. Although the attack on the US Mission happened over a year ago, it is still a very hot topic. Right now there is an interesting battle going on. CBS aired a segment with Dylan Davies (aka Morgan Jones) that questions the official account. I recieved a 'heads up' that that there would be a full blown effort to discredit this eyewitness account, and it sure is rolling into high gear.

Something a little difeerent this week. The Benghazi US Embassy attack is just about to hit the news once again. 60 Minutes will be airing a segment that is bound to create a firestorm.   My friend, british author Damien Lewis and the head of security training for the Embassy Sgt Morgan Jones collaborated on a book The Embassy House. In a strange twist of fate, it is being published on the dat of the 60 Minutes broadcast, Oh and Sgt Morgan Jones is the subject of the interview..... CBS and publisher S&S have kept this book very close to thier chest. There has been a conplete embargo on the authors talking.

The long-awaited third album from acclaimed Oakland music duo Glass House, 'Long Way Down', was released on October 15, 2013. Featuring David Worm, best known for his long association with vocal pioneer Bobby McFerrin and guitarist / multi-instrumentalist Mark Vickness. Mark will be joining me on air to discuss Long Way Down.

Back in 2007 I got wind of a very strange Hollywood story. A week before release a copy of the indie movie The Man From Earth was set to open, a copy found its way onto the internet. While this is not unfortunately a rare instance, the MPAA has been battling the  problem for years, what was interesting was the approach that film makers Richard Schenkman and Eric Wilkinson took. In many ways they embraced the situation. Here we are in 2013 and the team are once again planning a movie, a sequel to Man From Earth. i will be sitting down with Richard Schenman to discuss the new project

His debut CD 'Tell Me Something' not only showcases a mixture of original compositions and re-done, lesser known classics by Phil Collins and Genesis, but also features essentially the core of Phil Collins's touring band: Brad Cole, Leland Sklar, Daryl Stuermer, Chester Thompson, Luis Conte, Arnold McCuller, Amy Keys, Lynne Fiddmont, and renowned jazz saxophonist Gerald Albright (who also worked with the Phil Collins Big Band). Of course, many members of Phil's touring band are active session players, and there have been projects where a couple of them have played together, but 'Tell Me Something' represents the first time almost all of Phil Collins's entire ensemble of musicians have come together on a project...without Phil Collins!

When is a tribute band not a tribute band? The answer is when your name is Dweezil Zappa and your father is none other than Frank Zappa. Dweezil is about to lauch a large multi country tour celebrating his fathers music. This is a rare opportunity to see inside the Zappa legacy.

I am a huge fan of Prog Rock, I listen and talk to the classic bands. One of the things I like to do is keep a pulse on the next generation of prog musicians. Etcetera Etc are an interesting band. To quote Rick Wakeman's son Oliver "prog is like crickett, it is never going to be a major league sport".
