Much to the excitement of music aficionados worldwide, bassist/composer Erik Scott will be releasing his sophomore CD 'And The Earth Bleeds' on May 8, 2014. Best known for his work with Alice Cooper, Sonia Dada, and Flo & Eddie, Erik's newest release takes the listener on an aural voyage through ethereal and otherworldly musical landscapes. 'And The Earth Bleeds' adds some vocals, gypsy violins, Celtic melodies, a dash of steel guitar, a wisp of French horns and other surprises to the soulful and mystic brew of his first 'solo' album, 'Other Planets'. And Erik continues to stretch convention with his melodic playing and bass-generated SFX.

The most anticipated music festival of 2014, the legendary RoSfest, will take place this year May 2-4, 2014, and will feature progressive rock icons Caravan, Beardfish, Collage, Clepsydra, Sound Of Contact and others! The Rites of Spring Festival, or RoSfest as it's commonly called, is an annual progressive rock festival held every spring in Gettysburg, PA. RoSfest is in its 11th year, and are thrilled to be presenting UK prog icons Caravan, who has not performed in the US in many years, along with 9 other amazing bands this year. RoSfest has always been at the forefront of bringing new and upcoming progressive rock bands to an American audience, while also bringing in bands that were at their peak during the heyday of prog rock in the 70's. This year's lineup features 10 bands over three days, with Friday night's show featuring Clepsydra (Switzerland) and Caravan (UK). The news biz is at best confusing. These days it seems to me that the key is spin. Some organisations run left, some run right. Is obamacare a success or a failure? It depend on who you talk to. MSNBC says it is great 7.1 million people have signed up. Fox on the other hand asks the question, but how many people actually paid? The search for flight MH370 lumbere on. About the only hard fact, is that there are no hard facts. This has become a fertile area for conspiracy theories. Is Chris Chistie doomed in a run for president? The release of the investigation report says no, but who wrote the report?

Donna Mebane has just published her first book, Tomorrow Comes. It is an unusual book, part fact and part fiction. In 2011 Donna lost her daughter Emma at the tender age of 19. Tomorrow comes reflects on Emma's short life, and also sugests one version of what the afterlife might be like.
