Kingdom Awareness

 We often attempt to change where we are going not fully realizing where we came from.  We invent our purpose instead of looking at the source of where our purpose came, without realizing where our purpose is taking us.  We believe that we can find our purpose from external sources, religions, premises, or books, when our true purpose can only be found in the creator of that purpose. Then, the real confusing part is when we realize that our purpose is not meant for us but for others.  John 15:13, “Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.”  Although we can benefit from our purpose, when we attempt solely to save our purpose for ourselves for our own profit we experience superficial gain.  We never achieve satisfaction or understanding of or our intended purpose.     

One of the reasons we do not reap the benefits of, or our life does not reflect the kind of life that we are capable of obtaining is because we have traded in our willingness to satisfy our role in the covenant relationship with God.   The trade is that we are more interested in what we can get from the relationship, instead of what we can give to the relationship. We are more satisfied with the satisfaction of our needs, power, will, and our flesh than remaining obedient and love one another to fulfill our end of the bargain.  Obedience is not the life that never makes mistakes, it the kind of life that does not say or rely on forgiveness WHEN we make a mistake, it relies on forgiveness IF we make a mistake.  Join us tonight to understand what, how, and why the principles of covenant relationships are so important to live a Kingdom filled life.

Often the name of a person reveals something associated with that person or in hopes seen through another, like some may name their child something to describe the willful character of the child like Charity, Faith, Joy, or Hope.  While others name their child something they see as beautiful or majestic like Dawn, Sunshine, Princess, or Heaven.  Still others name their child after someone or something that means something special to them like, Zion, Emmanuel, Angel, or Jr.  In the kingdom of God the name describes the authority, purpose and the will of our father.  Let’s take Abram, Abram (Gen 11:26) described the authority of him "exalted father" and the change to Abraham (Gen 17:5) revealed the purpose and will of God, "father of a multitude."   We may not have had anything to do with the choice of the beginning of our name, but we do have a choice in the changing of it or how it will end (Rev 2:17).  Tonight at 6:30pm, EST call to listen what the name reveals, call (310)982-4267 or login to www.blogtalkrad

“Labor Pains” The kingdom of God has everything we need to have a truly fulfilled life.  The kingdom of God’s beginning and end is outside the control of man, as shown in the parable of the mustard seed (Matt 13:31-32) and (Luke 13:18-19), also seen in the actions of Abram and Sarai in (Gen 16:1-4).  However, what we do in the middle can cause great pain while searching for the same end result that God has already promised.  When a woman gives birth no one can stop the pain, but we do ease the pain with medicine, which does not change the end result, it only give them the impression that the pain somehow is reduced or gone.  Until, the medicine wears off, the pain returns and it reveal that something painful took place.  When we assume the position of God, pain will come before the promise (Gen 3:16).

When we attempt to force or provoke God‘s hand to move in our favor is what we see in religion.  Religion is any attempt to assume what God wants or is saying through man’s action and understanding.  Religion will bind you to limited understanding and keep you guessing about what pleases God.  The only understanding you gain is what you think is best for you or someone else.     

“Mirror, Mirror”   Negative and positive self-image first comes from the experiences and interactions we have had in the past.  The people that are in our life either by choice or not have shaped our self-image and our view that we have about ourselves and about God.  The child does not pick and choose his or her parents, yet the parent are expected to do what is best for that child.   The image you have of yourself will differ from the image God has for you.  The problem is that we are socially disconnected from our source and identity.  We recognize the need to be accepted by others, but we rarely look at the need to be accepted by God.  We adapt and become something other than what God prescribed and live life through someone else or through a learned experience.  We are more than willing to change to please others, rather than change to please God.  Now we are exhausted and confused, disillusioned and disenchanted, and overwhelmed and imprisoned all within the confines of our own mind and understanding.

  Things may not always seem to be going the way YOU think God has told you they would go, but when you hold on to the promise, have faith, and believe, it will come to pass despite the way it looks right now.  By YOUR standards the promise is lost or wasted on somebody like you or YOU believe it will never happen because you wait, and wait, and have been waiting.  The enemy can see what God has promised you and what sacrifices you have made to obtain that promise.  That’s why you need understanding and the truth about the promised kingdom.  That is the only way for you gain access is through faith and understanding.  Have faith that God IS and will supply all your needs, and understand that the promise comes through Jesus Christ.   Phl 4:19   But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.  But beware of scavengers and those who are sent to disrupt you purpose and pick apart your promise.  The promise can be found in his heart, NOT in his hand!!!  

There is something that is so closely related and linked the enemy wants us to see them separately so we won’t see how one prohibits the other.  I am talking fear, and future.  We fear our future because we don’t know the outcome.  Fear can prevent us from going where God is taking us because in some cases we know where we have been or we don’t understand where he is taking us.  Our past can restrict our predetermined outcome and destiny.  How do we break free? Through understanding, understanding the truth about ourselves and God’s plan for us through his word.           

“Truth of the Tithe” I personally believe in the tithe and I also believe that tithing is necessary to keep the things operational.  I also believe that many are not using the tithe or tenth as required and it may not totally be going to do the work of the ministry, but to continue “Churchin” as we know it.  Faulty motivators restrict us from truly giving the way God wants us to give.  Number 1, Give because I am going to get.  Number 2, I can give to free me of my sins.  And number 3, giving will give me righteousness.  Under the New Covenant, tithing becomes a principle; tithing becomes a response to a responsibility and tithing becomes a duty.  Man has justified ill actions, and misguided truths concerning the tithe, thus the misconceptions grow about, “Truth of the Tithe.”  Let’s rightly divide the word together.  Join us tonight at 6:30pm EST, call (310)982-4267 or login at www.blogtalkradio.com/4kingdomawareness

Have you ever told someone the truth and they did not accept it no matter how many times you showed it to them in black and white?  Better yet have you ever showed someone something in scripture and they were still unwilling to accept the truth about what it says, and/or made excuses and justifications for their actions.  Jesus came teaching and preaching the good of the kingdom of God as he himself stated Luke 4:43,“And he said unto them, I must preach the kingdom of God to other cities also: for therefore am I sent.”  And Mar 1:14-15,“Now after that John was put in prison, Jesus came into Galilee, preaching the gospel of the kingdom of God, And saying, The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe the gospel.”  He told us his purpose and he gave us ours in Mark 16:15, “And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.” Yet still we preach everything from prosperity to purpose and never fully understand what the good news of the kingd
