Assumptions are dangerous.  Kingdom fulfillment is based on what is and never based on an assumed function of our gifts and someone else’s callings.  When a leader or anyone assumes that God has not spoken or entered into the heart of another person the leader or that person can be misled into thinking that they have arrived and are the only ones that hear God.  The person then begins to doubt if they have ever heard from God in the first place.  Thus begins a concept of congregation when we think that only people that look like us are on the same level and endowed with the same understanding.  This causes a separation when the separation is not supposed to be denominational; it is supposed to be relational.  The relationship is between that individual and Christ.

Jesus meets us where we are and not through attempts to change us by looking at us where we are, but by giving us opportunities to see where we are and move from where we’re at, you must become the change you are seeking.  We must be willing to accept and make that change.  Many times we live where death dwells and become a replica of our surroundings and a slave to our circumstances. Good intentions produce bad results.  Throughout life when we create things based on limited knowledge or understanding we often create it out of ignorance.  Our intentions may be good, but often they are ill-conceived or based on faulty information or perception.  The outcome is a separation and a disconnection.  A separation and disconnect from what God truly wants for our life and yet still fooling ourselves in believing that we are in his will.  The intention is our will for God and not his will for us.    Meaning well and understand meaning are on opposite sides of the spectrum.  Often in these intentions we find our purpose for God and lose God’s purpose for us.   In these intentions the rise of man’s kingdom becomes the main intention and God’s kingdom is just a means and a way of building that kingdom.   In this intention justification supersedes obedience and trust in God.   Religion is a product of that intention.  Don’t allow your good intentions to cover your lack of understanding.

There are many things that will hold us back from fully experiencing the things that God is trying to show us.  Rituals and religion keeps us in a compromising position where we have too much world to fully accept the things of God.  Ceremony and circumstance keeps us looking for God in places he is not.  Money and material will have us replace God with idols and define God through financial exploits.  All the instances will keep us following and creating practices that will never lead us or get us to fully accept the truth about God and the message that Jesus brought.  Run for your life from these atrocities and seek the first the kingdom of God.
