We were honored to speak with bass player and founding member Ian Lewis from the Inner Circle Band and he tells us the stories of coming up in Jamaica alongside other talented musicians. Ian expresses some of the overall frustration from various icons towards the younger generation who don't spend enough time learning the roots of reggae music. It was a pleasure to link Pierre from Special Delivery Records and get some of the background info with the label and the new dancehall project, Yard Rock. We had to take the time and get the full hundred about how he and JP focused on the reggae as their foundation and all the progress they've made for 10 years. This morning we talk to Russian the lead producer from Head Concussion Records and we find out how this 'young-aged' man has managed to stay in the league of successful professionals in Jamaica.
