Chatting With Sherri presents the cast from Hamlet! Sherri's Playhouse will present Director/Playwright Anne-Louise Fortune's interetation of Shakespeare's classic Hamlet.  Join the cast as and director as we discuss how it was to bring the classic to radio theater.

We will chat about all the exciting new things that are happening to Lee, and many other subjects that occurs to us as we chatter away.   Her newest work; Hounds of the Underworld blends mystery, near-future noir and horror. Set in New Zealand, it’s the product of a collaboration by two Kiwi authors, one with Chinese heritage and the other Maori.  This debut book in The Path of Ra series offers compelling new voices and an exotic perspective on the detective drama.

Chatting With Sherri welcomes author Jennifer Irwin about her book; A Dress The Color Of The Sky! A native new Yorker and captivating storyteller with a flair for embellishment, Jennifer Irwin currently resides in Los Angeles with two cats, one dog, and her boyfriend. After earning her BA in Cinema from Dennison University, she worked in advertising and marketing, raised three boys, and ultimately became a certified Pilates instructor. While she has written screenplays and short stories since her college days A Dress The Color Of The Sky is her first novel. The film rights were purchased before publication, and Jennifer is enjoying a book tour across the United States.

Award winning writer, Lena M Pousette specializes in high concept thrillers and dark comedies She began as an actress on stage, film and TV in shows like Silver Spoons, Night Court and Murder She Wrote!   Now on the other side of the lens as a writer, producer and director. For such shows as; Voyeur, recipient of seven Interactive Academy Awards, including Best Writing. and Caesar’s World of Boxing , Interactive Academy Award of Best Sports Title. A pioneer in interactive design, she was hired as Creative Director (Mass Media) and Director of Development (Philips POV and Time Warner Interactive.)

E.D.Brown graduated  from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, she was cast in the International percussion sensation STOMP. She toured the world with STOMP and upon returning to New York, refocused her performance career on acting. She worked with several theatre companies in New York City including The Classical Theatre of Harlem but was pulled West to Los Angeles to further her acting and writing career. Chatting With Sherri welcomes Jordan Jacobo who is best know as an actor and director, known for Soldiers of Misfortune, Fletcher and Jenks and Jordan Hates the Writing!  A San Diego native and lifetime film enthusiast, He began his career as a documentarian, Jordan went on to write and develop such comedic narrative series as, “Soldiers of Misfortune,” and “Fletcher and Jenks,” as well as the KPBS series “Permission to Speak Freely.” Jordan currently hosts “Jordan Hates,” an award winning web-series which humorously explores the darker aspects of the human condition, as well as “Jordan Loves” an exploration of the unseen aspects of San Diego.   

Chatting With Sherri welcomes John Alsedek and Dana Perry-Hayes about their show Suspense!   During radio’s heyday in the 1930s and 1940s, anthology programs were wildly popular. But even among classics such as ‘Inner Sanctum’, ‘Lights Out!’ and ‘The Whistler’, one series stood out: SUSPENSE. Featuring a virtual who’s-who of Hollywood royalty, SUSPENSE ran for an unprecedented 20 years and 900-plus episodes before finally going off the air on September 30th, 1962- a date that is widely considered the end of radio’s ‘Golden Age’.   However, that wasn’t the end of the SUSPENSE story. Chatting With Sherri welcomes back Emmy Winning Producer,Writer and Author Brooks Wachtel! Brooks is a very talented and diverse man who won an Emmy Award for screenwriting for the animated hit series Tutenstein! Brooks is an Emmy Award-winning writer with a long resume in TV and film. Wachtel has written more than 100 produced episodes of television fiction. In addition to episodes of X-Men, he has written shows as diverse as Fox’s live-action Young Hercules (starring Ryan Gosling) and animated hits like Spider-Man, Heavy Gear, Robo-Cop, Beast Machines: Transformers and PBS’ Liberty’s Kids. Chatting With Sherri welcomes back Highlander Star, author and film maker; Elizabeth Gracen!  Elizabeth just attended what could sadly be the last ever Highlander Con on Oct 20 I remember how that felt with Xena, we will chat about what might be the last convention for the very populer series. She is also in the process of editing on two  documentaries that she has been working so hard on LEE and THE FUTURE SPEAKS for Flapper Productions!  I can't wait to see both of them.  We will chat more about these films and now that she is about to show them to the public how she feels about letting her babies go. She also has Flapper Press and as well as Flapper Productions and I want to hear what she is doing with her wonderful site all about books.     

Chatting With Sherri welcomes back playwright and actor; Everett Robert!   "Everett Robert is wrapping up one of his most successful years as a playwright, with productions in California, Georgia, and Kansas, not to mention Sherri's Playhouse productions. In January his plays Moonlit and Dinner Date were performed at the Nugget Fringe Festival in Grass Valley, CA. The endof January saw Sherlock Holmes and Terror By Night Train, which he created the story for and added additional material for, on Sherri's Playhouse. In May, longtime Sherri's Playhouse actor Cathy Kutz performed his piece "Warning Shots" at the Samuel French bookshop in Hollywood CA. July saw Moonlit performed 9 times over three weekends in Hapeville, GA at the Academy Theater and The Suicide Club performed on Sherri's Playhouse. Finally the end of September saw Moonlit performed in Kansas City as part of the Midwest Dramatists Conference. What's next for this prolific and diverse writer?"

Chatting With Sherri welcomes back photographer Chris Loomis! I graduated from the University of North Texas (UNT) receiving a BFA in Fine Arts/Photography (1995). Following that was a move to California to attend Brooks Institute of Photography, graduating in 2000. Since then I have remained in the West and have been blessed to shoot for numerous commercial, editorial and personal clients. Design, art, nature, architecture, high-fashion, science, science-fiction, surrealism, the paranormal, music and even old cartoons...name some of the many things that inspire me personally as well as photographically. From personal projects with high-concept productions to illustrative commissions for clients, I am constantly working to evolve my vision while maintaining the highest level of quality and art direction.
